Esha04 - Cheerleading is dance and drill combined. These young ladies are purely drill team.

This is dance drill guys. Its called Dance military at the competitions that we go to .. (I love these girls.. the year I was on it!) I dont know why yall are arguing about it. Haha.

It's "military" style dance. Which means sharp movements, and "bladed hands". And It was great! You can get those kicks higher by using legs weights in practice.

in washington we have a similar style of dance called "drill." for an example search for 'bellevue drill'. and whatever this is, it's amazing, and MUCH sharper than regular jazz or lyrical dance.

High kicks aren't military. I'm on the west coast as well. In my opinion, if you have music you aren't military. I do know around here they call some pretty weird things military. You look a lot like our dance team. I wish I had a video to show you ours... but look into the Seattle Drill Team Association, you might find some real military drill teams.

this is military drill dude..if your talking about J.R.O.T.C Military Drill that's really different..my middle school's military Drill Team Stephen White Middle School and my HighSchool's Pep-flag team Carson Flaggies are on the hollaback girl video and they are USA(United Spirit Association) champs.. Military Drill in the Spirit Category is a team perforing in sharp angles, high kicks, jumps, splits and that slapping sound from cuffed blades..this is Military Drill..*nice job ladies..

they arent a dance team. im on a dance team..this is too...repeatative and...not fluid in the way of dance. i havent seen this before at all. we dont have drill teams XD

it's only repetitive if you're watching for a certain *kind* of variety. in drill/military/whatever the emphasis is on marching precision, synchronization, formations and the transitions between them.
