"BEAST" meaning that she is an incredible MUSICIAN. she plays several instruments.

I notice that everybody was having some kind of fun EXCEPT the quad and snare drum players. :/ I'm in drumline myself (cymbals) and we have a lot of fun. We do a lot of visuals like the cymbal player. but the snare drum players need to loosen up a little bit more and do more visuals like the cymbal player. Although I do like the quad's solo :)
And less than half of the drumline was there to perform so you can't disrespect their performance.. Vsu's Drumline one of the most technical drumlines of all hbcu bands.
You guys calm down, you're all talking about why they put this wack southern band when they could have put a Drum Corp, of course a Drum Corp would play better!

My niece, (on the symbols) was just a freshman, when they did this. so taking all of that into consideration, and the fact that, they were SELECTED should account for SOMETHING. C'mon! give a little! @Laughingmans6 the argument wasnt about who's drumline was better. the guy that i was replying to was mad that they had a hbcu drumline to perform instead of a pwc line. and the drumline shown here is not the full line. they have five snares 6 bases five cymbals
@Laughingmans6 i have seen umass drumline. and this is not the current virginia state drumline go look up the 2010 drumline. virginia state plays a lot of drum corps stuff well the drumline does. these guys can play electric wheelchair and latin over those are some of their standard cadences they play.

Isnt it kind of funny that everyone has something to say about what drumlines are better than VSU. MD better than OT, Cold Steel better than them, JSU, SCSU, JCSU, does it really matter?
the reason why it doesn't matter what anyone says is because VSU is the 1st and so far ONLY HBCU drumline to play for ANY US President. Those are the facts.
