It's amazing. The pickups are like butter but can be real mean with some slight effects. The licensed floyd stays in tune if you set it up right but if it is just the slight bit off it's heck. The neck is the third fastest I've played ever- third only to the hellraiser fr and the epiphone prophecy futura fx. overall great guitar. I got mine for $250 used from a friend. best investment I've made.

Well, James in general is a very talented guy. Most of the songs that metallica has written was written by James and Lars. A few by Kirk and Jason. Back in the Kill 'em All days Mustaine wrote most of the stuff.
