  • You should open a restaurant!!! =)

  • I like your use of the cast iron skillet. I have had one for quite awhile, but have only recently started using it regularly. As long as you understand how to keep it clean, it is very versatile :D

  • @ScrotalKarma Yes, I agree. I have a few tricks to keeping them on par, but just using them regularly will keep them well tuned up. I have a few here. One is about 80 years old (the deep one). The others are over twenty anyway. Thank you! KtC

  • @kooktocook Thank you to you too as well :) My skillet is still young. I have already made a few meals in her, and plan to make many more as well. All the best for you :D

  • @kooktocook loved your comment on another vid about your neighbours thinking you are a crackhead from the way you maintain your cast iron XD really need to get on the cast iron bandwagon meself....havent used one in years.....random comment!

  • @spacemanspiff33 A good choice of cookware. Even heating, takes a beating and no mess cleaning. Stove top or oven works great. Not sure why but I do notice the difference when cast iron is used in the taste of the foods. Just more authentic cooking method I suppose. cheers, KtC

  • Ewww Weee Scotch Bonnet Peppers...they are HOT!

  • please tell me this is 5 stars !!!!?

  • @mmdghr Yes, 5 stars :D

  • if u add honey is the sugar necessary ?

  • @alexxx1836 The sugar is to assist the yeast activation. It is required for this one. The honey makes the crust a bit 'crisper' than typical pizza dough. Neither are for sweetening. cheers, KtC

  • sigh! huhuu. i dont have any oven. nice vid ktc..

  • that looks delicious and not too hard im gonna try that!

  • @LaLLdayEveryDay However you decide to top it, the recipe on the crust works nicely. We make them frequently. cheers! KtC

  • now THAT is a pissa, thumbs up.

  • @omnion1990 Thank you. I like making them from scratch. Just tastes better. Have a great day! KtC

  • I have a very fine type of flour, which is called "fufu" in certain parts of Western Africa. The one I have is potato based. It takes a lot of time to make it into something resembling mashed potatoes.

Do you think I could use it to make a pizza dough? or to make bread?

Thank you, KtC, in advance :D

  • @UngratefulSwine Not sure. Is it marked 'flour' or "plantain flour"? See FuFu is actually a food (type of dumpling), it is made with plantain flour. There are recipes using plantain flour. I do not have any on-hand but I'm sure there are a few on the net. I haven't used it myself but I have had it with a soup. I do not recall exactly. Perhaps I will investigate further and see about a recipe vid. Let me know how it works out. cheers! KtC

  • @kooktocook It says instant potato fufu. It contains potato granules and potato starch. Mix one cup of fufu with 2.5/3 cups of water and stir over medium heat until thick or cooked. I have done this already. It turns out well, but it is not instant. It takes about an hour of forceful stirring to achieve the proper consistency. It is very finely ground, like cornstarch. I have no problem preparing it. It just takes a long time. I thought perhaps you might have some ideas for an alternate use.

  • @UngratefulSwine Yes, that is the basic recipe for use. It is not the same as the flour though. Not sure what you can do with it. :o

Let me know if you do find an alternative use though. cheers, KtC

  • @kooktocook You are right. The one I have is potato (you are right, not the original ingredient) based, as I have have mentioned. Just prepare it properly with a solid wooden spoon, and then shape it into dumplings, and use it to accompany a nice rich soup and then share it with friends :D All the best ;)

  • @UngratefulSwine You may have to get more now that you have a recipe for it :) cheers! KtC

  • haha HACK HACK ...with a giant butcher knife..funny...AND looks yummy!

  • @Ingablah It was handy and it certainly worked well. lol... Thanks for commenting! cheers, KtC

  • I find the cast iron works well for this purpose. Pizza stone would be nice. I keep meaning to buy one. Thank you. cheers! KtC

  • holy crap i want some 'za!

  • A pizza stone is ideal and for that matter a pizza oven, but the cast iron does the trick. Cornmeal or a whole wheat flour is also nice. Thanks paper_ have a great day! KtC (perhaps we can see your spin on pizza soon)

  • This made me hungry!

Wow, and I get my iron intake too!

  • Pizza Served! thank you Jolene, cheers KtC

  • I love it. Baking pizza in a cast iron skillet and chopping it up with a cleaver!! Now THAT's pizza! : )

  • My pizza cutter is broken :) The skillet works quite well, I find the non-stick pizza pans sometimes too big and not really ideal for pizza. thanks Tamar! KtC
