I think Nepal is more linked to the Indian subcontinent than China. I have so many friends in Nepal and many of them follow the Indian culture and traditions and the women wear the sarees and salwaars. Even here in the US, I know some Nepali families who are more linked to the Indian families and church. I think they are a generation mixed with indians and the chineses.

There are real singers, the singers are real, and really sing all the songs in all these wonderful nepali videos, but like in the rest of the world it is very hard to sing live while doing a complicated special effects cool video like this. they are really good singers i know. also it doesn't make sense because some people in the video ARE singing...sometimes young people in a story are used as the actors in videos and older, famous singers do the singing.

Nepal is sandwiched between India and Tibet. Thai culture and language, as you may know, has been influenced heavily by India. That's as far as I know.

My take is just that we are all not that different from each other as we think. We are all One, just different branches of a big human family tree.

One time I was travelling in Western Chinese countryside, and the rural folks spoke what sounded to me and my gf a lot like French!
