The red shift of light as it travels through interstellar space is coals by interaction with interstellar antimatter. It is not coals by the universe expanding. These latest energy is pushed back the big bang to be on 20 billion years ago. But there never walls of the growing! The universe is not expanding. Further we C the more red shift we see.
wow ! the splendor and glory of his creation made for us, we failed he did not. We would have known so much more than we do now, if it were not for the fall. Who knows the plans he had for us. Consider the glory of his creation and then think what are the possibilities of this for us in an UNFALLEN state. Our tiny minds boggle. Cant wait for the NEW kingdom with Jesus as king of kings and lord of lords and the bride (church believers) at his side.
It's even weirder to think what we can't see. For example if we were deep in the ocean and didn't even know the rest of the earth existed let alone space and all of it's galaxies. So, it's bizarre to think how much more could really be out there. Who really knows how vast space is and miniscule we are.
@eddysvideos33 Great answer.. there could be things, and objects out there that we can't even begin to understand or comprehend.. but only because we don't have that here on Earth.. Like fish for example.. they don't know that there are cars, planes, cellphones and such lol. they only know what they have access too, which is Water, coral reefs, sand, and other fish.Think about that :)
guys guys guys..... arguing about god? one of the most pointless things....... probably the main point of this video is to fuel and encourage people to think openly and widely TOGETHER. rather than petty pointless arguments...........
@theslimy2 Pointless is wasting millions and millions in this while there is people starving in Africa and in so many places of the world. Get the idea of what God wants: we humans must help each other. If some of the money spent on these researches is intended to reduce the poverty, a lot of lives would be saved. This is extreme selfishness. Why don't you take a gun and shoot people? It's easier.
Spoken like a true short-sighted religious zealot. I'm not saying people shouldn't be helped. Because they absolutely should, but saying that studying and understanding the universe around us is "pointless" shows unrivaled ignorance. So much funding in space exploration and study has ALREADY been cut that it is amazing we're still able to do things like this.
@3Xblade Think of what is the cost of one of this researches. Now think with that amount of money how many children you can save if you give each one of them a daily meal. The answer is millions. It's not a matter of religion, because no one is forcing you to believe in anything. It is a matter of being compassive and charitable with people that, like us, need to fulfill the basic needs.
@3Xblade Now we discover that there are millions of galaxies around. Then sometime we will discover that there is life outside our planet. I'm not saying that this shouldn't be done, but what is the big point of doing it that is worth of deny the basic needs of the poor people? It doesn't bring anything to my life nor to yours. I really don't see what is the point.
Just imagine if there was another planet out there sending probes into space looking for life elsewhere just like us, i hope one day soon we discover life elsewhere. The universe is just to large and vast for life to not exist in some form elsewere.
@THEGATHERING20 if there is a planet with intelligent life and where sending probes into space like us then i don't think those probes whould reach us... unless they are intelligent enough to use teleportation... if they are this stage of intelligent i don't think they are interested in us anymore... they'll think that we are too native to have anything they want to learn.. they might probably watching us without we noticing them.. just like we watching the ants without them noticing us... haha
There is only one God that is our Creator and Creator of this whole universe...The whole universe looks like a spec of dust before HIM or May be less....To know more study the only preserved book "Quraan"
We're all made of molecules, I bet we're molecules from a table in another galaxy itself, and that galaxy is made up of even more molecules pertaining to another universe and just continues to branch out and out and out and out........
@lukewarmsteak only some people would and then only until we find tha actual answer, why do some people win the lottery? we dont know, does that mean its god too? i would have though god was against gambling. just because we dont know doesnt automatically mean its god, it means our technological advances havent advanced enough yet, they used to say god caused earthquakes, we know better now
@CillersFan What many people "believe" isn't important. The universe is not affected by what you or anyone else believes, it just is. What is essential to understanding it is selecting which scientific models best fit the observable universe. As we are able to observe more of it, both at a cosmological and at a quantum scale, we are better able to refine these models or even create new ones that better fit the evidence. Remember that the map is not the territory, the model is not the universe.
@lee8264 What is this false alarm thing? I gotta check this anklyosaurus out now. Just gotta get off this video channel. Been here for hours learning how the comments are displayed.
I get confused over the order the comments are displayed here, or anywhere on Youtube. I think there are three things that make a difference. or is it more? There is repying to the video, or, replying to a comment already made. And the sort by time or the sort by thread options.I am workin it out slowly.
@lee8264 When was this Lee? Adding to my fossil theory..Given enough time, if that fossil was left alone, it would eventually be raised to the surface or thrust down deep , where it would either melt or erode to nothing . Forever lost. Like so many before all those unimaginable trillions and trillions of eons ago.And we base out knowledge of Earths age from stuff only recently formed. With this latest find, suddenly reptiles appeared 160 mil yrs ago now. Earth is older than we think.
@lee8264 Ohhhh come on man. I wanted @TheWestbrooke to answer that. And as for you ReneeNme, I was supposed to answer the water question. BTW, where did @TheWestbrooke go. Where are ya mate?
@utuberine But I will add to the thing about the difference in salt and fresh water. There is no difference. Fresh water is salty too. Just a lot less of it, taking its salty cargo to the sea where it will leave it there as it is evaporated to go back to the hills and collect more.
@lee8264 Hey fancy meeting me here eh Lee? I have seen all these videos. More than once. Why? Searching for years for the thing I saw one night over LA. Something that made the hair on my body stand up and had me gasping for air with excitement as I finally, before my eyes, knew for sure, what I always wanted to believe, that we are among others . And closeby. I saw it once years later on a tv program,Image based on many sightings, but been unable to find it again. One day it may show up again.
Yes, you are right. A "true" year is 365 1/4 days. Should have thought a little instead of just going with 365. Thanks for correcting me. peace to you as well.
If we gaze at a star some distance away, we see it as it was many years ago, and if someone on a planet like ours around that star, were gazing back at us, they would see the same trhing. Which of the two is now?
@utuberine " If we gaze at a star some distance away, we see it as it was many years ago, and if someone on a planet like ours around that star, were gazing back at us, they would see the same trhing. Which of the two is now ? " Neither.
I already know what we will see through any telescope, no matter how powerful, and how far back in time we gaze. and that is more galaxies. For all time we can look the other way, further and further and we will reveal even more galaxies. Time ,space and life are infinite..they never started anywhere nor will they end. Life will always be.I am sure even the bible mentions the promise of everlasting life.Everything forms, glows, ages, dies and round and round just like life cycles on Earth, home
Fuck off all you shallow thinking religous nuts. Take your stupid storys and stuff them down someone elses throats. You have been conditioned to believe in Gods, nothing more. More an more get brainwashed with religon, when you all know that science makes more sense than your religous rantings. Remember how religon tried to crush science during the enlightenment. I wonder why. LOL's. Tools,Peons,SHEEPLE.
@VajinalBloodFart No I don't remember that. (Terrible name BTW.)What is a peon? I know what you mean though. One does not see scientists busting in on sermons at the local church and setting up a leibig condenser and telling everyone they are full of shit for thinking the way they do.
@Globetrottahh That is not so true. We are all scientifically explained living creatures and are entitled to believe whatever we like.I don't necessarily agree with a lot of things a creationist might believe, but it makes neither one of us right or wrong, in doing so.
The universe is made of two things. THings you can see, and things you can feel. We are a biological organism combined with a spiritual force,, that makes us alive. We are very powerful, but don't fully understand how much.We have a purpose, and that is to learn. In time, you will know why.Without us to behold it, the universe would not exist and without the universe, neither would we, a perfect relationship.Open the mind and gaze outward and feel the truth within. We are the ones.God is in you.
@utuberine Well put,I don't understand why relegion and science can't get along. there has to be a middle ground I guess it just like it always has been. the I'm right and you're wrong thing. science has shown us many things that the church could not. there has to be a creator to all of this. it just didn't happen by chance. a little faith goes a long way. when the science people get cancer, they sure in the heck don't pray to Hubble now do they? no one person is right. live and live. peace.
@TheWestbrooke Thanks. I am sure a lot of scientists, like myself, are not necessarily religious but have some grasp on the spiritual side of ourselves. We all know when someone or something dies, there is more than just movement that leaves their form. Something invisible., timeless, precious. The sparkling knowledge of the universe. Life. Conscious entity to behold. Oh man the universe would really suck if life never happened along. By the way, life did not start anywhere, it has always been.
@TheWestbrooke When you say that it all didn't just happen by chance, you are being shortsighted No offence friend.. We are not the centre of everything looking at the final result of a well attended experiment..No Sir, we are just a speck in time. If you give anything an eternity to be, it will be. Like it is here and now. Forever is a long time and given an endless time to do something, anything is possible.Just like limitless space. Sooner or later you will find life. Like us here and now.
@utuberine Well put,but one flaw,(no offense) it hasn't been forever. as a scientist you should know that the universe is only 500 billion years old. or something like that. and while that is uncomprehencable it still is not forever. and as you said previously life has always been,no there was a thing called the big bang that started it all. I myself mesh sciene and relegion. cause for me it god who made the big bang. we are created beings. maybe not by a bearded man but by something or someone
@TheWestbrooke I do not believe in the Big Bang ..I also do not believe that the universe is 500 billion years old. I reckon that is a wild guess based on how far hubble can see. The further it can look, the older the universe will get. Like palaeontology limited to the fossils it can find. Rocks get formed and rise, erode away to dust, get laid down again and again. The fossils are only in the last lot of remade rocks before they too, will perish. The Earth has been here longer than we think.
@utuberine okay answer this then, the earth was molten lava while being form, right? then where did all this water come from. don't say astriods and comets did one drop at a time, cause that don't get it. and that would not explain salt and freash water.
@utuberine Sorry I thought I had. God,he has comfort me when I needed it,has shown me mercy when I didn't deserve it,I've seen his glory in my childern. He knows my wants, but knows what I truely need. he hasn't answer all my prayers, cause some of his greatest gifts are unaswered prayers. His light and glory lead me home from the battle fields of Iraq. I've seen what people can do to each other and it was terrible. but he saw me through. he is my God and friend. I trust him completly. did that do
@TheWestbrooke OK that was waeming. I feel happiness for you when you sy these things. However, you told me about you. Can you answer the question more directly. I want to know where and what your God as you see or percieve Him, is and looks like. Where does he hang out. You know. Can you describe GOD to me. Not what you think he does or makes you feel but a description of Him exactly.
@TheWestbrooke Thanks for the comment regarding my channel. Will send you another link hoping it will help you to fit the pieces of the puzzle together the way I have. IMO, Earths water didn't come from a singular source, it was from several. Remember, Earth wasn't a very quiet place during its formation. There were many, MANY, processes going on. BTW, I consider myself a science investigator ( credible sources only ) ... I'm not a scientist.
@TheWestbrooke Yeah . I think this is not a science or belief problem but more a language barrier. We tend to gravitate more to one than the other with the creationism vs evolution debate and it just carries on from there. I am sure that even the POpe will agree that wind or water always follows the path of least resistance.
@utuberine WOW,thats what I wanted to say but didn't have the right words. thank you. but as I'm sure you know sometime the path of least resistance is not whats best. take Judas, betrayel was least resistance, but look where he ended to aswer your question better,I see God in everything. I don't think he is some man on a cloud. my mind is to weak to even try to picture him. but I guess thats where having faith comes in.. I wish we could talk one on one. there is just not enough room on here.
Why are we worried about the invisible "god"? Why do people think they are the only ones here in this universe? The ancients knew more than we do today. The universe was known back then. Ever since the political order that we have today started, our knowledge was stripped from us. Only the animals know now.
And to think that even after these few glimpses to the infinity of the Universe, a lot of people still believe we are alone. That Earth is the only home of sentient life and everything else around it is decorations....wake up people!? there are just too many stars to be just decorations in the night sky of earth, and i really doubt if there is going to be another millenium without meeting aliens
@NeutralNegotiator They have already been here. Many times before. We just choose to forget, to change the subject. . Close the door, light the fire, turn on the TV. Relax, enjoy the comfort the house built of our own hands gives us, and forget about eternity and the reason we are part of it. Switch it off. Don't need to know. We fought so long for peace. Now leave us alone to doze off in the glory of it. Everything is gonna be OK,it is written in the stars, Take a look, see for yourself.its time
@PS3dude95: light travels at a fixed speed, 1light year is the distance light can travel in a year. If the galaxies are say, a million light years away, then the light you are seeing is a million years old already. Those stars and galaxies could be dead and gone and we wouldn't know because the light is still traveling towards us.
I wish if Humanity put this much effort infrastructure, labs, science enthusiasm, passion, etc to find Creator of this creation instead looking for debris and aliens on other planets. I swear- God would have appear to everyone in the less effort.
People HAVE been putting MORE effort into finding God/gods for a MUCH longer period of time. The thing is...gods are imaginary but galaxy's are real. That's the difference.
@tylermccail7777777 Yep we just are here for a little time then are gone, dead. What a waste of space we are. What a waste of science to find out all this about where we live when ALL of us die and vanish forever to dust.
No purpose no meaning at all. What a waste.... Enjoy your time left :-)
@tylermccail7777777 im not some religon junkie but your going strait to hell yes galaxys are real but do u know that god is real so what happens when your dead, god/gods have been study for have been study for a long time but back in the day did they have tecnolgy to study space just becuase your cant see somthing dosent meen its not there
Your mother and father exist because you see them when you were first born, Did you see god when you came out of your mum vagina? NO
Most religion believe that Human on earth is the ONLY living things in the universe which is retarded if you ask me, If religion belief is truly correct then why has God created all these planets/Galaxies, For what purpose? Are they just there? Why is God letting mankind destroy its own mother earth
we are here, we are conscious, so this is all real...sooo the universe was created but according to science something cannot exist from nothing...so the only truth is that there is a God or creator that created everything...because if you look at the big bang which was a great mass of gas which exploded, that gas had to come from something, it can't just exist out of nowhere...there is a creator, we cannot just exist from nothing, its impossible
If there is a God, i believe God must be an "Alien" from another planet which is so advanced and that they've been monitoring us. If you look at all these Ancient pictures/sculptures you'll see a UFO disc image on them meaning "UFO's" have been around for YEARS. Its not that i don't believe in God or anything but my term for God is different to those from a christian, Muslim view. I know that something was planted on Earth which helped the evolution for Humans.
In Qur'an which was revealed 1400 years ago,one finds such statements that science is proving today with most sopisticated equipments.
Dr.Maurice Bucaille wrote a book about Quran(The Bible,The Quran and Science) in which he explained how statements of Quran is amazing true and exact about the latest research.
Jean Guitton wrote "The history of science leads us to conclude that there can be no human explanation for the existence of these verses in the Qur'an(P.188)
@emaan456 the earliest copys of the quran in ancient arabic do not mention many of statements put in modern day qurans, the quran is like chines whispers, its changed vastly over years so much its nothing like the older ones at all, so many scholers just decide to "UPDATE" it lol, pretty ignorant if you beleive a god can create all of this complex universe.
Quran is the only preserved holy scripture...one can not find the slightest difference in the oldest copy and the latest copy....every one knows this.
Sir James Jeans said that "Wonderful! How extraordinary!...Who taught it to Muhammmed? Is this really in the Qur'an? If so, You can record my testimony that the Qur'an is an inspired Book...".
(Impressions of personalities)
Plz do not waste time...and study Quran before you end up!
@THEGATHERING20 quran or bible or anything else are just words and stories in the pass... who can prove god exist? i don't believe in ghost either.. the only god and ghost i believe in is a nice person is a god and a bad guy is a ghost.. and if u say the universe is created by god.. then where the god come from? there are no answer for everything... so just let it go as the way it is now.. btw i think a person with religion should/must be a good guy.. so all this books do have good in it.. d end
@HdramaTran GOD has created all galaxies, planets and wonders as the evidence of HIS Presence.HE Created Death and Life to test us...The Amazing vastness of the universe and Amazing system of our body is the biggest sign of GOD'S presence..
Read The only Preserved book "Quran" and you will find that science is one of its tiniest branch....You will find aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal of your answers in it.
@tylermccail7777777 u retarded then how this universe wa created ,physical constants ,cycles, humans with emotions brains unbeliever will only believe when they will die and at the day of judgement so wait for death if u r true.
At least I can form complete sentences. What you wrote isn't even coherent. Don't try to argue with intelligent people, you'll only make a fool out of yourself. No one knows how the universe got here or what, if anything existed before it. I have the intellectual honesty to admit that I don't know. Unlike you religious fanatics who claim to KNOW that God did it.
@tylermccail7777777 galaxy's are real yes, but they are also created from nothingness (big bang). that is about as far fetched as believing in a god imo
How does "We don't know how the universe was created" = "Galaxies were created from nothingness"?
What is so difficult to understand about this? We don't know = we don't know = we don't know = we don't know = WE DON'T KNOW!!!! Get it? We don't know means we don't don't know. It ONLY means we don't know. It can not possibly mean that we DO know some God did or didn't do it or that some cause completely beyond our capacity to comprehend did it. All we can do is look for answers
Scientists say things like "All the evidence points to X" or "To the best of our knowledge" or "It appears as if" The only time the really speak with certainty is when talking about laws. "We know that nothing can travel faster than light" things like that.
Scientists know a lot about the universe. This video shows pictures taken by scientists with a giant telescope that was designed by scientists and named after a scientist.
Just because YOU don't know something doesn't mean that no one does. I know how far away the sun is for example. I know how big it is and how long it takes it's light to reach Earth. Do you know all of those things? Without googeling them? Not that there is anything wrong with looking things up on google, I'm just guessing you spend your time doing other things seeing as how you think scientists don't know anything about the universe.
@muzapstar This is reality... We're on a tiny spec in something so vast we can't even comprehend it. That may make you feel small and insignificant, or humbled by how special the human race is to be mildly aware of our place in the cosmos.
@babamaal Why do we need to look for him? If we are his creation and he wants us to live a certain way why not appear now in all his imagined glory and simply reveal what he wants us to do? I am very very glad that we put effort into furthering Science instead of looking for an imaginary god. God had control of this planet through religious fanatics for thousands of years and disease and early death were rampant. It was only when reason and truth took over that we began to improve as a species.
Light travels at 186,000 miles per second. A "light year" is how far a beam of light will travel in one year's time. But, if you do the math, there are 31,536,000 sec. in a year. Take 31,536,000 x 186,000 and that is how far light travels in a year. Something like 5,865,696,000,000. So if something is 1 million light years away, to find the mileage, you take one million times 5,865,696,000,000. That is how many miles away it is, and the light was created 1 mil years ago.
Beautiful... we dont have a clue yet whats out there. Imagine what we will know in another 100 yrs. The music reminds me a movie called Gattica...how fitting. Thx for the post Wiggly.
If the entire Earth's surface represents the whole universe, the solar system on that scale would be one-millionth of a meter wide, about 1/25,000 of an inch, the size of a single, small bacteria.
And here we are wasting are lives playing the game called society, trying to be better than one another, killing eachother over green paper, ...and the list goes on. we are a funny species indeed.
@j3ownj3 There surely is. We just can't prove it, But indeed, if you take a look at that, the chance on other lifeworm is a 100%. But we'll never be able to really know it. At least our generation woulnd. The distances are just to far away to be done in a human life. Today it would still take us 357.230 years with the speed of pioneer 10 (132 000km/h "fastest we've ever gone") to reach out closest star... But hey, look 100 years ago, our technology is evolved 1000 better. There'll still be hope!
@TheBMXlove I have. That's a question I don't think we can't even begin to fathom though. I know some people say He created Himself is a theory, but I don't have a standpoint on it because that's something I know I really can't comprehend.
@TheBMXlove There are truths we won't know as true Christians, if you are following Jesus, we don't need to know about yet like where God comes from. Do we question where electricity comes from. Not me? I just use it to assist my life for the better like talking with you online about Him reminding you to stay connected to the source: Google activated magazine and plug in. See issue guide link
Really we can't say anything right now. We just don't know enough and we may never find out the answer to the origin of existence, but I am a believer in God because I don't see how physical matter can create itself without a force acting upon it. The force that could have made matter, which is gravity, could be God if you think about it. Gravity had to start somewhere, and I guess I believe there has to be God that made it or is it. That is just my personal opinion.
Wow, and to think the god that supposedly created all of this is primarily concerned with how we have sex and what church we attend. Only we humans could cheapen such wonder by attributing it's creation to a petty, genocidal celestial maniac.
@250garbear While your spot on with why religion is turning us into the most pathetic species there is, we can't just dismiss a "God" or more powerful-being or overwatcher or whatever this is, simply because we don't know, and we won't know for a long time. If our understanding of the universe was in the form of a human, the sperm to fertilize the egg wouldn't have been produced yet.
@shcoome I don't dismiss anything, I just ask for proof for a theory as incredible as god. Not knowing the exact origins of our Universe isn't the reason I doubt the existence of god, it's the utter lack of proof that he exists that cause my disbelief. No truly rational person can say there isn't a god, just as they cant say with certainty that there aren't magical dragons that live at the center of the sun, but without any proof of either ones existence we are better off pursuing reason & truth
Wow, and to think an atom bomb of sorts went off and created such beauty. No, no, and to think that My God has belittled himself from creating that vast speck of the universe, to look down upon me, and take me int His arms. an organism, on a planet, in a solar system, in a galaxy, in a universe filled with only He-knows how many galaxies.
@AndallthatRush No more real than a magical dragon that lives at the center of the sun and grants wishes to people that really believe in him. I'm not saying there isn't a god, just like I cant say there is no magical dragon. I instead choose to live my life based on reason and truth. We humans desperately want there to be an afterlife because the thought of nothing terrifies us. Once we cast off the shackles of superstition and nonsensical belief we will live a happier more fulfilling life. :-)
These ignorant nasa/esa people get to see even better images and proberbly more galaxies than we get to see. and yet they still come out with this bullshit bing bang theory. they are in denial of an existence of a glorious creator who has created everthing that we see can see in the universe. Or is it you wigglychickenable that believes in the big bang theory? then you are stupid one, along with your stupid ridiculous name
@77moessa that's demeaning. People can believe in a Creator at the same time as the Big Bang. I mean, the very theory itslef quite complements the idea of a Creator. Things coming from nothing. Sounds like a Creator to me....
@myowngenesis Demeaning? kid all i am saying is that i'm sure the people responsible for the hubble telescope get to look in to parts of the universe better than we do and have a better understanding of how the elements and the different parts of the solar system works. i'm sure by now they must believe that there is a creator up there. far away where their telescopes can never reach. but yet they still deny in a creator and believe in their bing bang theory. GOD has stated look at the signs.
@77moessa Hey don't get me wrong. I am a believer. Maybe not in the exact same manner as you, but I believe in one true God. And I agree with you on the part of them not showing half of what they themselves are capable of seeing. And come to think it, you're more than right: EVERY programme I've seen on Discovery or History channels, concerning the origins of the world, it seems they reek of desperation to disprove God, to give all credit to chance. Sorry for my hastened conclusion mate. Peace.
@myowngenesis Bang on mate. i totally agree with you mate. why is it when you watch discovery and history channels that explain about the universe and our solar system and the galaxy's it seems that they totally shun out the existence of a GOD or creator. i mean why dont they explain about things such as a total eclipse. the sun is millions of miles away from our moon and look how perfect it forms a ring when it overlapses the moon. such perfection and yet they still go on with this bing bang.
@77moessa How very unfair that research led to scientists being able to see that far into space. How ignorant of them to base their conclusions on the very research that gave such results. How righteous your anger about them getting so much more than you. After all they are only researching. You, on the other hand, have faith. I cannot understand why you are so much smarter than them, seeing the truth without to understand how the universe works.
@edtExodus yes my friend.ignorance is very bliss.its every where today. its very rare that many people today do not want to even look into the universe and just look up in to the sky and think to themselves WOW that is magnificent, and many people dont want to even want talk about the universe. Faith is very important to have in our lives. 2 believe in the unseen. to believe that there are other life forms that we cannot see. GOD has created everything for a purpose both in the heavens and earth.
@77moessa And how perfect mustn't the Earth have been created, when almost all life has been erased from it's surface at least five times, and there are lethal viruses and bacteria and carnivores. How perfect isn't the Earth when the tectonic plates move, so earthquakes kill humans and animals and devastate large areas. But, that the Moon, that is slowly moving farther and farther from the Earth, just for the moment appears just as big as the Sun, is a real proof of a "perfect" creation...
@YDDES Yes so perfect is the earth, that it was even part of heaven, until its creator parted it from the heavens and sent it down to the lower heavens of the universe with its inhabitants.

Who really knows how vast space is and miniscule we are.
eddysvideos33 6 months ago
@eddysvideos33 Great answer.. there could be things, and objects out there that we can't even begin to understand or comprehend.. but only because we don't have that here on Earth.. Like fish for example.. they don't know that there are cars, planes, cellphones and such lol. they only know what they have access too, which is Water, coral reefs, sand, and other fish.Think about that :)
Pendragon1989 5 months ago
guys guys guys..... arguing about god? one of the most pointless things....... probably the main point of this video is to fuel and encourage people to think openly and widely TOGETHER. rather than petty pointless arguments...........
theslimy2 7 months ago
@theslimy2 Pointless is wasting millions and millions in this while there is people starving in Africa and in so many places of the world. Get the idea of what God wants: we humans must help each other. If some of the money spent on these researches is intended to reduce the poverty, a lot of lives would be saved. This is extreme selfishness. Why don't you take a gun and shoot people? It's easier.
Argentum1816 6 months ago
@Argentum1816
3Xblade 6 months ago
@3Xblade Think of what is the cost of one of this researches. Now think with that amount of money how many children you can save if you give each one of them a daily meal. The answer is millions. It's not a matter of religion, because no one is forcing you to believe in anything. It is a matter of being compassive and charitable with people that, like us, need to fulfill the basic needs.
Argentum1816 6 months ago
@3Xblade Now we discover that there are millions of galaxies around. Then sometime we will discover that there is life outside our planet. I'm not saying that this shouldn't be done, but what is the big point of doing it that is worth of deny the basic needs of the poor people? It doesn't bring anything to my life nor to yours. I really don't see what is the point.
Argentum1816 6 months ago
This is so cool! Thank you.

Just imagine if there was another planet out there sending probes into space looking for life elsewhere just like us, i hope one day soon we discover life elsewhere. The universe is just to large and vast for life to not exist in some form elsewere.
THEGATHERING20 7 months ago
@THEGATHERING20 if there is a planet with intelligent life and where sending probes into space like us then i don't think those probes whould reach us... unless they are intelligent enough to use teleportation... if they are this stage of intelligent i don't think they are interested in us anymore... they'll think that we are too native to have anything they want to learn.. they might probably watching us without we noticing them.. just like we watching the ants without them noticing us... haha

CillersFan 9 months ago
@CillersFan What many people "believe" isn't important. The universe is not affected by what you or anyone else believes, it just is. What is essential to understanding it is selecting which scientific models best fit the observable universe. As we are able to observe more of it, both at a cosmological and at a quantum scale, we are better able to refine these models or even create new ones that better fit the evidence. Remember that the map is not the territory, the model is not the universe.

Globetrottahh 11 months ago
@Globetrottahh That is not so true. We are all scientifically explained living creatures and are entitled to believe whatever we like.I don't necessarily agree with a lot of things a creationist might believe, but it makes neither one of us right or wrong, in doing so.
utuberine 10 months ago
The universe is made of two things. THings you can see, and things you can feel. We are a biological organism combined with a spiritual force,, that makes us alive. We are very powerful, but don't fully understand how much.We have a purpose, and that is to learn. In time, you will know why.Without us to behold it, the universe would not exist and without the universe, neither would we, a perfect relationship.Open the mind and gaze outward and feel the truth within. We are the ones.God is in you.
utuberine 11 months ago
@utuberine Well put,I don't understand why relegion and science can't get along. there has to be a middle ground I guess it just like it always has been. the I'm right and you're wrong thing. science has shown us many things that the church could not. there has to be a creator to all of this. it just didn't happen by chance. a little faith goes a long way. when the science people get cancer, they sure in the heck don't pray to Hubble now do they? no one person is right. live and live. peace.
TheWestbrooke 10 months ago
@TheWestbrooke Thanks. I am sure a lot of scientists, like myself, are not necessarily religious but have some grasp on the spiritual side of ourselves. We all know when someone or something dies, there is more than just movement that leaves their form. Something invisible., timeless, precious. The sparkling knowledge of the universe. Life. Conscious entity to behold. Oh man the universe would really suck if life never happened along. By the way, life did not start anywhere, it has always been.
utuberine 10 months ago
@TheWestbrooke I have a question for ya mate. Could you describe to me what you believe God is. Tell me how you see Him.
utuberine 10 months ago
@TheWestbrooke When you say that it all didn't just happen by chance, you are being shortsighted No offence friend.. We are not the centre of everything looking at the final result of a well attended experiment..No Sir, we are just a speck in time. If you give anything an eternity to be, it will be. Like it is here and now. Forever is a long time and given an endless time to do something, anything is possible.Just like limitless space. Sooner or later you will find life. Like us here and now.
utuberine 10 months ago
@utuberine Well put,but one flaw,(no offense) it hasn't been forever. as a scientist you should know that the universe is only 500 billion years old. or something like that. and while that is uncomprehencable it still is not forever. and as you said previously life has always been,no there was a thing called the big bang that started it all. I myself mesh sciene and relegion. cause for me it god who made the big bang. we are created beings. maybe not by a bearded man but by something or someone
TheWestbrooke 10 months ago
@TheWestbrooke I do not believe in the Big Bang ..I also do not believe that the universe is 500 billion years old. I reckon that is a wild guess based on how far hubble can see. The further it can look, the older the universe will get. Like palaeontology limited to the fossils it can find. Rocks get formed and rise, erode away to dust, get laid down again and again. The fossils are only in the last lot of remade rocks before they too, will perish. The Earth has been here longer than we think.
utuberine 10 months ago
@utuberine okay answer this then, the earth was molten lava while being form, right? then where did all this water come from. don't say astriods and comets did one drop at a time, cause that don't get it. and that would not explain salt and freash water.
TheWestbrooke 10 months ago
@TheWestbrooke The answer is obvious, but I would like you to answer the question I asked you first a little way back.
utuberine 10 months ago
@utuberine Sorry I thought I had. God,he has comfort me when I needed it,has shown me mercy when I didn't deserve it,I've seen his glory in my childern. His light and glory lead me home from the battle fields of Iraq. I've seen what people can do to each other and it was terrible. but he saw me through. he is my God and friend. I trust him completly. did that do
TheWestbrooke 10 months ago
@TheWestbrooke OK that was waeming. I feel happiness for you when you sy these things. However, you told me about you. Can you answer the question more directly. I want to know where and what your God as you see or percieve Him, is and looks like. Where does he hang out. You know. Can you describe GOD to me. Not what you think he does or makes you feel but a description of Him exactly.
utuberine 10 months ago
@TheWestbrooke Thanks for the comment regarding my channel. Will send you another link hoping it will help you to fit the pieces of the puzzle together the way I have. IMO, Earths water didn't come from a singular source, it was from several. Remember, Earth wasn't a very quiet place during its formation. There were many, MANY, processes going on. BTW, I consider myself a science investigator ( credible sources only ) ... I'm not a scientist.
ReneeNme 10 months ago
@TheWestbrooke Yeah . I think this is not a science or belief problem but more a language barrier. We tend to gravitate more to one than the other with the creationism vs evolution debate and it just carries on from there. I am sure that even the POpe will agree that wind or water always follows the path of least resistance.
utuberine 10 months ago
@utuberine WOW,thats what I wanted to say but didn't have the right words. thank you. but as I'm sure you know sometime the path of least resistance is not whats best. take Judas, betrayel was least resistance, but look where he ended to aswer your question better,I see God in everything. I don't think he is some man on a cloud. my mind is to weak to even try to picture him. but I guess thats where having faith comes in.. I wish we could talk one on one. there is just not enough room on here.
TheWestbrooke 10 months ago
@TheWestbrooke I didn't know Judas. But I am sure he wasn't, (although may have produced a lot of), made of wind and/or water.

Why are we worried about the invisible "god"? Why do people think they are the only ones here in this universe? The ancients knew more than we do today. The universe was known back then. Ever since the political order that we have today started, our knowledge was stripped from us. Only the animals know now.
ja0401 11 months ago

HdramaTran 10 months ago
@HdramaTran we can be for certain one true thing
we are here, we are conscious, so this is all real...sooo the universe was created but according to science something cannot exist from nothing...so the only truth is that there is a God or creator that created everything...because if you look at the big bang which was a great mass of gas which exploded, that gas had to come from something, it can't just exist out of nowhere...there is a creator, we cannot just exist from nothing, its impossible

@tylermccail7777777 galaxy's are real yes, but they are also created from nothingness (big bang). that is about as far fetched as believing in a god imo

@roocusify
All we can do is look for answers
tylermccail7777777 10 months ago 13

tylermccail7777777 7 months ago
@tylermccail7777777 what I tried to say is.
science will never say they don't know. science will always say they know but really what do they truely know in fact about the universe.?
dalihendrix 7 months ago
@dalihendrix
Scientists say things like "All the evidence points to X" or "To the best of our knowledge" or "It appears as if" The only time the really speak with certainty is when talking about laws. "We know that nothing can travel faster than light" things like that.
Scientists know a lot about the universe. This video shows pictures taken by scientists with a giant telescope that was designed by scientists and named after a scientist.
tylermccail7777777 7 months ago
@dalihendrix

PS3dude95 1 year ago
@PS3dude95

@zptramel Definitely. We as humans really take life for granted

how can there not be anything else living outside the earth?

I'd bet earth worm jim is out there!
kiwiproject 1 year ago
@j3ownj3 There surely is. We just can't prove it, But indeed, if you take a look at that, the chance on other lifeworm is a 100%. But we'll never be able to really know it. At least our generation woulnd. The distances are just to far away to be done in a human life. Today it would still take us 357.230 years with the speed of pioneer 10 (132 000km/h "fastest we've ever gone") to reach out closest star... But hey, look 100 years ago, our technology is evolved 1000 better. There'll still be hope!

I believe in God too, but have you ever asked yourself who created God?
TheBMXlove 1 year ago
@TheBMXlove I have. That's a question I don't think we can't even begin to fathom though. I know some people say He created Himself is a theory, but I don't have a standpoint on it because that's something I know I really can't comprehend.
Lobster1419 1 year ago
@TheBMXlove There are truths we won't know as true Christians, if you are following Jesus, we don't need to know about yet like where God comes from. Do we question where electricity comes from. Not me? I just use it to assist my life for the better like talking with you online about Him reminding you to stay connected to the source: Google activated magazine and plug in. See issue guide link
arch37 1 year ago
@arch37 Careful, I don't think that that statement applies to just Christians. I think it appertains to religion universally.
Lobster1419 1 year ago

If our understanding of the universe was in the form of a human, the sperm to fertilize the egg wouldn't have been produced yet.
shcoome 1 year ago

@AndallthatRush god aint real same with satana dont put me to explain cuz i got a damn long list
Abraxas20012 11 months ago

77moessa 1 year ago
@77moessa that's demeaning. People can believe in a Creator at the same time as the Big Bang. I mean, the very theory itslef quite complements the idea of a Creator. Things coming from nothing. Sounds like a Creator to me....
myowngenesis 1 year ago
@myowngenesis Demeaning? kid all i am saying is that i'm sure the people responsible for the hubble telescope get to look in to parts of the universe better than we do and have a better understanding of how the elements and the different parts of the solar system works. i'm sure by now they must believe that there is a creator up there. far away where their telescopes can never reach. but yet they still deny in a creator and believe in their bing bang theory. GOD has stated look at the signs.
77moessa 1 year ago
@77moessa Hey don't get me wrong. I am a believer. Maybe not in the exact same manner as you, but I believe in one true God. And I agree with you on the part of them not showing half of what they themselves are capable of seeing. And come to think it, you're more than right: EVERY programme I've seen on Discovery or History channels, concerning the origins of the world, it seems they reek of desperation to disprove God, to give all credit to chance. Sorry for my hastened conclusion mate. Peace.
myowngenesis 1 year ago
@myowngenesis Bang on mate. i totally agree with you mate. why is it when you watch discovery and history channels that explain about the universe and our solar system and the galaxy's it seems that they totally shun out the existence of a GOD or creator. i mean why dont they explain about things such as a total eclipse. the sun is millions of miles away from our moon and look how perfect it forms a ring when it overlapses the moon. such perfection and yet they still go on with this bing bang.
77moessa 1 year ago
@77moessa How very unfair that research led to scientists being able to see that far into space. How ignorant of them to base their conclusions on the very research that gave such results. How righteous your anger about them getting so much more than you. After all they are only researching. You, on the other hand, have faith. I cannot understand why you are so much smarter than them, seeing the truth without to understand how the universe works.
Ignorance really is bliss, isn't it?
edtExodus 1 year ago 19
@edtExodus yes my friend.ignorance is very bliss.its every where today. its very rare that many people today do not want to even look into the universe and just look up in to the sky and think to themselves WOW that is magnificent, and many people dont want to even want talk about the universe. Faith is very important to have in our lives. 2 believe in the unseen. to believe that there are other life forms that we cannot see. GOD has created everything for a purpose both in the heavens and earth.
77moessa 1 year ago
@77moessa And how perfect mustn't the Earth have been created, when almost all life has been erased from it's surface at least five times, and there are lethal viruses and bacteria and carnivores. How perfect isn't the Earth when the tectonic plates move, so earthquakes kill humans and animals and devastate large areas. But, that the Moon, that is slowly moving farther and farther from the Earth, just for the moment appears just as big as the Sun, is a real proof of a "perfect" creation...
YDDES 1 year ago
@YDDES Yes so perfect is the earth, that it was even part of heaven, until its creator parted it from the heavens and sent it down to the lower heavens of the universe with its inhabitants.
