    I agree with you to an extent. A night owl be train themselves to be somewhat of a morning person (and morning people can become night owls). But, while I don't have any proof, I believe that some people have natural night-owl or morning person tendencies they will fall into, if they let their 'training' slip. I always have leaned towards being a night owl. Whenever my reasons for training myself to be a morning person (eg: job or school) were removed, I always became a night owl.

  • Great, that there's science like this. But I think you can actually train yourself to be either an evening person or a morning person. I once was an evening person, preferred to work late, got up late, and yes, at that time my peak hours were in the night. But then I changed my habits, and now I am a total morning person. I don't think that people are hardwired to be one or the other, but rather that the brain adapts to the behavior we consistently enforce.
