  • Very powerful! I believed that we need our youth exposed to this type of creative story telling. Along with the images, we begin to create a movement for our youth to be interested in , and to understanding our rich history. Thank you Brutha!

  • Thank you my brother. We have developed these anecdotal stories, combined with historical facts into interactive learning CD's that will hopefully bring some light to a people who have long been kept in the dark.

  • Google blogtalk radio - Ty Gray-EL is the featured guest this Thurs evening at 6 p.m. EDT

  • Godalmightythelord: If you were to listen to the entire story about the Hands of Martha Rainwater you will find the story filled with triumph and the strength that permeates the soul of black women. One of our problems is that we are ashamed of the tragic period in our history where we demonstrated the most courage and the most strength. We should embrace our history and not run from it. It was our strength that built this country.

  • Geetings,

Thank You for sharing this CD, Awesome!

    La Faith

  • You should get a copy and hear all the tracks. Also, you can also maintain dialogue with the author for this is just the tip of the iceberg for this accomplished artist.

  • ElevateTheBrain, That was fine story telling. The best part is that I learned something new. I confess that Im going to have to watch it again because I was so mezmorized by the beautiful tone of that Black Mans voice that I almost coundnt concentrate on the story. Thank you for the beautiful film and for keeping our history alive.

  • choccitysoul: thank so much. When you get some time also check out, here on Youtube

    A Black Woman's Smile

  • wow....brother, i was mesmerized. i can't wait to hear the rest!!! powerful storytelling indeed...and brother, don't even worry about what people think. the fact that these "voices" have made themselves known to you is all that's important. we will surely grow and heal from it. thank you!

  • Great job E, I think you are on to something suggesting these be used in schools. I had a friend listen and she asked me how she could get 4 copies to send to some friends in the Tennessee school system. What do you think would be the best approach to various schools systems?
