K&N air filter ( R-1100) in Pulsar 180 UG IV

it there any change in mileage?? i heard that mileage will increase after instaling this Air filter.

and tell me one more thing, which is best filter for pulsar 220F. (I need sound + Average)

@akshitpassi1 How did you opened the air filter box? Have you used knife or blade to cut the box because my pulsar 180 ug4 is sealed. I can able to remove plastic scale like cover with two sponges in it.

dude i'm ripin bike to 90's in 3rd gear.. yesterday my 5th shift was on 114.. u can see the increase in power.. this is below the red line on rpm meter

@akshitpassi1: Ehm, in how far can u see the increase in power? Are u trying to say, that u can reach higher speeds in each gaer now without reving higher? If so, thats bullshit, because its physically impossible. As long as you dont change the gear ratio or the final ratio the speed reached in a specific gear at a specific rpm does NOT change.

@akshitpassi1: Nope Im not, I am using M&B ( My Brain). So is that what u were trying to say? U might rev higher, or reach a certain rpm level sooner, but again, the speed in a certain gear just below the red line, or say at 9000 rpm is not going to change.

I m too looking forward to Install K&N R1100 on my 180 UG4

but there r few Queston in my mind, I think u can help me out

- Whats the Difference between RC1060 & R1100, & Why R1100?

- Whats the (blue & silver colour)pipe in the vedio, which is attach frm K&N to Machine?

- Have u change the Main-jet to bigger Size 1 if yes, which size is it?

- What ratio Tunning have u done in Jetting?

- how much is the increase in BHP & Any difference in Mileage after installing K&N?

about both the filters i dunn know much but my mech recommended R1100 for P180..

diff that i felt was of size.. R1100 is bigger in size than R1060..also R1060 is worth appox 1500 where as r1100 is 2450.. one diff i felt is that the sound of r1100 is little heavy ;)

da pipe is Exhaust pipe..

Ya the jet has been changed to that of karizma.. coz the it fits directly in 180 and also there make is by same company...jetting was done by my mech
