from the looks of it that is a red eared slider...correct??....u definetly need a larger aquarium for her bacause females sliders can easily get a carapace lenth of 12 inches and a full grown female should need at least a 100 gallon tank with the correct lighting...heating...and basking area

You need to use a red,blue,or black heat lamp

for your leos they are nocturnal and the white light

can stress them out even if its been working fine

for a while don't risk it

i used to have a tutle and i read that they save lives and takes their own for sobody else then one day while my mom was flying back from a work site or w/e she had an emergency landing and later that night my turtle died :(
