@kitten21s No, the dinner buffet at the place we went was $59 per adult plus an automatic 15% gratuity. So, almost $68 per adult for one dinner buffet. Kids were about 1/3 of that. Breakfast was cheaper and we usually ate lunch at one of the local places within walking distance.

I was there as a child back in the 90's, dont remember the exact date. But damn.. I miss that place so much! It is a place I will always remember, for the rest of my life.

All the pictures and films you see about the place are JUST like it really is!

So if you can't afford it, go there!

We stayed there when they After the Sunset was filmed - starring Pierce Brosnan. We met him and some of the cast - Didn't get to meet Woddy Harleson though. We thought it was fantastic and have some wonderful memories and pictures. We also visited Blue Laggon Island - Gilligans Island - to us oldies. Brilliant - Loved it and swimming with the dolphins was the best !!

You can purchase an all-inclusive plan, but per meal it works out the same. The catch is that you have to buy meals for everyday you are there. So, if you leave at 5 am on a Thursday morning, you have to pay for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for that Thursday. The food is VERY expensive. Like worst nightmare expensive. Be prepared to spend $60 for a Golden Corral quality buffet.

Here we have fresh waters beautiful hotels great games and PLUS The story and statues of the Atlantians. Very cool. Paradice island is a vacation place. You could go there sometime.

Bahamas is a bit run down. Even at the Atlantis, the rooms are underwelming, even in the Royal towers unless you get one of the upper levels. I'm used to better quality and more adventure in a cleaner enviroment for much less.  Prolly skip Bahamas in the future in favor of other regions in the Caribbean.

It may be a West Coast/East Coast thing. I've gotten much better service, better adventure, and much more for my money in Hawaii. Rooms for $400 in the off season should be luxurious, yet Atlantis is just plan generic. They charge $400 for a room I would normally pay less than $150 for on vacation.

I've been to Nassau twice, Free Port Twice, St.Thomas once,and St.Maartin once, and Cast Away Cay once and Royal Carribean's private island! I am 11 and I've been on 3 cruises. We couldn't afford to stay at the Atlantis, but we were... untill someone mugged us! So... Ps:If you do go... and you're a girl... NEVER GET YOUR HAIR DONE IN CORNROWS!!!!!!!! It hurts like mess and you can't use conditioner!!!! Also when you take them out there is so much hair in your brush!
