earthbound had such fantastic music. every song was fitting for each place and situation.

I played this game very recently (I think in 2011), and I can tell 'ya, this is one of the best games I've ever played.

The first reason that I like this game, is the main character and his family. I think it's a little bit of my family(except that my Dad isn't a telephone).

The second reason, is because this game is beatiful in some way. I don't know, but every time I play this game, I feel it.

The third reason, the saoundtrack is AWESOME.

It really is amazing how hearing this song can bring back such great memories and give you the chills. This was one of the first RPGs I played as a kid, and its amazing its the best one I have played to date.

@UltimaWeaponMk2 I'd have to say it's because no one uses them anymore from what I've seen. We all have the internet now and can just look everything up on GameFAQs, so a Player's Guide is a waste of paper. I actually prefer Player's Guides for the sake of collecting them.

replaying Earthbound after playing through Mother 1 for the first time, this song in particular really moved me. Even though I played the games a day apart at most, I was struck by a nostalgic feeling when I recognized the melody. I don't know how Itoi does it, but he does it better than anyone else out there.

I wasn't the biggest fan of Earthbound, but I always liked this theme.

If you get the chance, go on iTunes and get the Mother3+ soundtrack. It has some really good remixes and live performances, and the version of this song is excellent.
