I'm sorry I'm Russian born and proud but this is enough. Get these damn jets grounded. They're older then MD-80 models and though had great success in the past are simply not updated like they should be. Russia is a leading partner in the sphere of aeronautics - but frankly this is embarrassing. Bravo to Russian pilots and shame on risking lives of ordinary fliers. This plane belongs in the museum. Enough is enough.

Looks like the rudder control has either broken completely or slowed down in reaction time, maybe a leak in the hydraulics, leading to PIO, Pilot Induced Ossilations. This is usually a charactersitic of early fly by wire systems although could happen here.

@Jens1503 More than vertical stabilizer issues....ailerons were also deflecting wildly.....hydraulic issues. Pressure gauges before take should have indicated low pressures (leak).....stellar piloting with use of thrusters to control the plane. STELLAR PILOTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!
