  • Great song. They did Ephesians 2:8-9 as a parody of Can't drive 55. If memory serves.

  • There's no face-palm big enough for this.

  • Although not everyone may be a fan of them, I think this band is extremely talented, and is using its talent for something positive... taking secular songs and giving them an awesome message. May not be everyone's favorite, but I am very impressed and glad that they are giving glory to God through their music.

  • @ArtifexReel AMEN. Thank you!

  • And indeed, I hooked up this morning with the Son of God. Thank you Jesus, I love you too <3

  • I like that opening scripture. :)

  • @dutchmcgee101 I don't know who that guy is or if he is legit or not. But I do know what the Word says. Jesus told the disciples that when He left the world greater works would they do than He. "Greater" is actually more, seeing how no one could out do raising someone from the dead as Jesus did. So lets not be quick to judge denominations or any follower of Christ. Lets just stick to the Word and spread the gospel like Jesus said.

  • God works in amazing ways and this is definitely one of them. Many people are so broken and need healing and this is just one of the many ways that God has given to us. Thank the Lord for these amazing Christians!!!!

  • Hey this is a good parody. The orginal group Boston now has Michael Sweet from Stryper as their lead vocalist. Tom Scholz and he are both Christians.

  • wow way to ruine a boston song you christian fags

  • @cywen69 I hope that the Lord will heal you and I just hope that you can realize that you don't have to be so hurtful. The Boston song is still there and if you don't like it just don't comment on it.

  • My hobby is telling others about Jesus. THose who ae to blinded by the world and it's lies to see the truth.

  • We will pray for you cause no matter what you say, Jesus loves you and died for you.

  • This shit is an affront to music. There is no divine punishment, however awful and permanent, that I would choose to listen to this music to escape.

  • @JoshIsNumber3 = We will pray for you cause no matter what you say, Jesus loves you and died for you.

  • @FlaviusSarcasticus Please spare me of your fictitious mumbo jumbo. Prayers don't build hospitals, prayers don't create vaccines, prayers don't build schools.

  • @JoshIsNumber3 So if prayer doesn't do anything it won't matter if I pray that God opens your eyes to the truth of the Gospel and pray that you come to know Christ died for your sins.

  • @FlaviusSarcasticus If you really don't have anything else to do with your time, you could pray that you find a hobby.

  • @JoshIsNumber3 They can and hopefully God will show you this.

  • @JoshIsNumber3 Prayer may not create all those things, but Christians DO. Look at your history - vaccines, schools, hospitals, and more, developed by Christians, because of Christian principals. There's a hospital not too far from me called "Seventh Day Adventist" - funded and built by Christians out of the good of their own hearts. And that, my friend, is what Christ is about - the good in peoples' hearts, which can only shine out once the sin has been removed.

  • AWESOME! One of my favorite songs made christian! SWEET!

  • JESUS does still heal and so do HIS people...Just Believe!!

    John 14:12-14

"I tell you the truth. The person that believes in me will do the same things I have done. Yes! He will do even greater things than I have done. Why? Because I am going to the Father. And if you ask for anything in my name, I will do it for you. Then the Father's glory will be shown through the Son. If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it.

  • Please read Isaiah 53!

  • oh and the pick with the guy crying and jesus hugging him...that made me tear up :`)

  • haha i laugh about the people that are ashamed of being christian when they are teens i pray infront of everyone on my way of school now all i have to do is confess `cause i sinned greatly but to shy to tell the priest what i did...anyway GOD BLESS

  • Ha, fantastic. Good word. Really made my morning,

  • Cool video!

  • Loved Toto.....love this even more! Pretty cool!

  • Great stuff!!

  • Has anyone ever heard of healing minister Doctor David Nichols? He's comin' to my church tonight.

  • @dogfighter57 I don't go for so-called healing ministries. We don't need the signs anymore to preach the Gospel. I'm no saying God still performs miracles but the Charismatics have got it all wrong about alot of stuff.

  • @dutchmcgee101

Really? I think you have been touched to much with the spirit of demonationalism

  • @dutchmcgee101 If the "sign" gifts were not for today, it doesn't seem likely that Paul and others would spend time on discussing them in the Scriptures and giving instruction on how they ought to be used. Cessation beliefs have been a tool of the enemy to divide the church and to make a great part of God's body much less powerful than they could be.

  • That's what I don't understand, why do people think they need to go hear a "healing minister" to get healed by God? God can heal you no matter where you are as long as you have faith in Him to do it.

  • @dutchmcgee101 Jesus is the answer and THE example of how to walk the christian walk. Whatever Jesus did we're supposed to. John 14:12.

  • @dutchmcgee101

I have been going on mission trips for about 3 years now. We go and pray for the sick and God heals them and they get saved. You should not come across as an expert about something that is theory alone to you. We have seen God heal over 75 people of cancer that would be dead in almost any church setting where people give this to God's will alone. Great job guys. Healing is a part of the atonement!

  • 23rootbeer, the Church is easily the most loving, generous, forgiving group of people on Earth.

  • oh, i thought this was a parody of "i got a feeling" that song on the cbs commercials

  • Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ(anointed); and shall deceive many.

THE POINT IS BE VERY CAREFUL, NOT EVERYONE WHO CLAIMS TO BE CHRISTIAN IS TRUE.

  • Amen I agree brother.

  • So many fail to see that the message is what is most important. The music only seasons the message. Christ said, " I send you out as sheep among wolves. Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves." Our mission is not to judge, but to deliver the message even if we have to season it to their taste. If we can get them to injest (eat) the message which is the Word, it will accomplish that for which it was sent.

  • this song is too squeeky. The Tablecloth is the real hit on the album.

  • Quite - Beautiful !

  • I love Boston's version but Apologetix did an outstanding job on this.

  • intense.

im a fan of boston and this is a great parody.

  • got put us put us on the world to love others and help others. what other are hear for, i dont think anyone knows.

    w.h. anden

  • Dude I don't mean to be rude, but you need to work on your grammar, mainly b/c I'm a writer, and another thing religion burdens people Jesus takes our burdens away.

  • The classic Hymns of Charles Wesley were negatively because they were written to the tune of popular melodies and bar ditties of his day.

Jesus taught in parables based on popular culture.

Paul preached to the Greco Roman world as he said"I become all things to all men tat I might win some.

    So get over it man!

These guys are doing what God called them to do.

If you think you are spiritually superior then you should know you should love them and pray for them.

  • You know Jesus said the world would hate us. Have you forgotten that. I've met these guys personally and they're pretty humble. In fact I correspond sometimes with J. Jackson the singer by e-mail. Alot of people have gotten saved b/c of their ministry. They're speaking the language of people.

  • I don't doubt the sincerity of their faith or humbleness....they're from my hometown, I've met them too, on more than one occasion. J is a great guy...I just don't see eye to eye with what they do. If folks get saved that is awesome.....but folks get saved at Benny Hinn crusades too; doesn't mean I endorse his false teachings. I don't think the world would hate these guys, laugh at them yes, from posts and reviews I've seen online. (continued in next post

  • For me, I guess I'm sensitive, maybe oversensitive to the fact, in America, Christians aren't persecute like in other countries, we're laughed at and ignored because they think we're a joke. I think this stuff helps that along. J and the guys are sincere believers, I've no doubt. I just disagree with how they do what they do. But if folks do get saved as a result, I rejoice in that, even though I don't think the ends justify the means. We're all still brothers in Christ. Take care.

  • I don't like benny hinn either. If their music causes you to stumble then don't listen to it. I'm free to enjoy it though man. But I understand where you're coming from.

  • maybe but not completely. it give something for the people who have a hard time giving up the world. something that sounds similar but isnt quite worldly you know. but i get your point.

  • Personally, I see it as Christians being willing to be like the Apostle Paul who made himself all things to all men that he might save some.

  • you think the worlds just sopmething controlled by god. that her really never was the mesiah. well if our lifes are controlled by god why do we sin. if we were controlled by god wed be perfect

  • You know if you don't like this, why are you even bothering to watch this. God gave us something lets see...called um...FREE WILL. Adam was the one who chose to disobey God thereby bringing sin into this world. God is love and real love doesn't force itself on people.

  • exactly. Couldn't have said it better.

  • We AREN'T Controlled. God Gave us free will. We have to choose him. I have experiences that prove to me he is real.

  • Love It !

  • Thanks. i appreciate it. I met J. and Keith in person at the concert in Empire, Alabama back in July. Those guys are really ordinary. Their humility was amazing.

  • Actually Christianity is not a religion it's found in a Person Jesus Christ. We're all sinners. Why did you watch it if you didn't like it anyway? Do you have a Bible?

  • Being a Christian is definitely something to be happy about! :)

  • @crazyaboutsquirrels yeah!! xDD

  • @crazyaboutsquirrels Your wrong

  • I agree whats so great about being a christain? i mean theres heaven, my sin forgiven and....wait im complaining wrong

  • We're Christian, we're Christ Like

  • Christianity isn't a religion. It's a lifestyle. And as far as denominations go...I am non-denominational. But I could care less if people are baptist, methodist, or anything else. Because we all come together in one belief. We love God and we want to achieve God's plans for our life. I believe that denominations are the devil's way of seperating us. Guess we proved him wrong :)

  • Well said.

  • Brother, you know EXACTLY what you're talking about. Listen to this guy!

"Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptised into the name of Paul?"

    1 Corinthians 1:13

The point is that we are all followers of Christ. The same Christ. We are all a part of the same Church family, with Christ as the head! Let's not argue, but rather come together as one, and change the world! We are followers of Christ Jesus, and we are united through him!

Thanks from us all again, brother!

  • The denominations were created because of the differen't things that churches or people went through. I can believe in being non-denominational but being Jehovahs witenesses or Morman and some others denominations are not Christian. How can you believe that there is no Hell. The bible is truth. It says there is a Hell. Mormans only believe in some of the Bible. The Bible is in fact inspired words by God.

  • I agree with what you say. Denominations are Christians who believe different things. But when it comes down to it, it all should be the same. Some Christians want to sing and shout and dance and some want to sing and be calm and those are two different ways of worshiping. But why can't that be in the SAME church and not baptist, methodist, etc. I am a non-denominational. There is heaven, and there is hell. I agree with you 23rootbeer 100%.

  • There is one thing that they cannot make it to Heaven without. That is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As long as they have that, I believe that they CAN make it to Heaven. There are definitely other things but I agree with the joining of Christians. If we could combine our strengths then we would have a mass movement across the world.

  • The devil would not want that. Therefore he creates ways to seperate the people through minor beliefs, pride, race, or location. But there are Christian events for everyone. If a church is holding a paintball tournament, school outreach assembly, or a special event of any sort you are welcome to join. I have gone to 3 different churches in a week. The reason people do not come together is because they prefer different locations, preachers, people, or other things.

  • I have found a church that I can see growth and strong faith. Some Christians are just too afraid to invite other Christians to their church. Other Christians are also too ignorant to want to try something different. They say they have a church. Be bold and ask others from other churches to come to your church. Tell them that a new experience would not kill them. If they like it better, they may go.

  • There are some churches with 2000 people. Baptist, Methodist, and others do not want to change their beliefs. They believe in something and do not want to believe otherwise. That is their custom. If you believe in Santa Clause for 10 years and then someone says stop believeing in him. You are not likely to change. Someone has to convince you. No one is willing to convince the churches that combination is needed.

  • I did see a time where an all black and a prominantly white church did combine and it was for the better. We are free to live for God and express our love for him any way we want. Pray, live, tell, serve, give, and follow him.

  • I agree with you. And I believe, like you, that the reason some churches are afraid of change is because the devil is trying is hardest to keep us from following Him to the best of our ability. It would be amazing to see us all grow together as one church in Christ.

  • The universal church doesn't come until after the Tribulation and the return of Christ. I think you should read the book Trail of Blood.

  • Of course, after Jesus comes to remove all evil we will all worship in one central place.

  • @23rootbeer I don't believe in yoking up with Catholics and Charismatics cause the word of God says to be seperate. It is better to be devided over truth than united by error.

  • No Christianity is Jesus Christ redeeming the lost souls of mankind.

  • I believe Christianity is the coming to be more like Christ and having a relationship with him and having faith in him. .

    Christian: to be Christ-Like

  • Truth

  • I actually dreamt up this song many years ago, not the lyrics, just the title. I thought to myself "Apologetix should definitely parody Boston's More Than a Feeling and call it More than a Healing." And now it's finally a reality. Some may disagree, but I am not lying.

  • Hey bro. I believe you man, don't worry about it.

  • LOL thanks! I know some may read a comment like mine and wrongly assume that I gave the band the idea for this parody.

  • Yeah, weird things happen like that sometimes.

  • Love this

  • You're welcome.

  • nice one thanks

  • Oh yeah... There's no "the" in the band name either :)

  • This is by far their best song yet. Can't wait to see them on Sunday :D

  • Well, does it really matter? I mean it wouldn't make much since gramatically to call it More than a Healing by ApologetiX.

  • Thanks. Ha your the first comment on this vid.

  • BA Song

    love it
