He probably put Yang on KK or AA and just didn't want to get himself stuck in a preflop all-in. It's not a horrible misread, the only reason the call should be made post-flop is the SPEED in which Yang shoved was way too quick for AA or KK, he wouldn't overbet like that so quickly with a really strong hand,maybe 10s or Js

I don't get the folding of queens either because it is only 7.78 more to call after betting 3 mill and with over 19 already in the pot. He was previously not putting Yang on AA or KK so it seemed to late to back out of that initial plan for the hand. I think the pressure got to the guy. 2 bone headed plays here I would say. Yang is terrible...maybe worse than Jamie Gold. He'd have been better off raising it to 1.5 or 2m pre-flop....that way he knows anyone who calls it could very well have Aces or Kings. @maiabh On poker at this level, 4-7 isn't a losing hand. If they showed the full event you'd see much more brilliance, bluffs etc. You'd see the thinking, characters of the players. If you've played poker the most interesting parts are not just "all-in who has the better hand" but the way they come back from low stack etc. But this was okay anyway. And the 2. mistake is the preflop decision. No way, the oop call (+1.8M) when he scare. Allin or fold. He got the perfect flop and cant play? What the situation when come overcard K or an A?
Being in that position at the final table of the god damn Main Event, facing a raise and a strong all-in, I don´t think it is such a bad laydown. He scared of AA KK or a set. He prefers to not risk all his chips in that moment. We see Yangs cards. It is easy for us to say "bad fold". If Yang had KK, everybody would say "Gread laydown".

BUT with a 3 low cards flop then YES i would risk it! i never said that he is not a good player BUT holding queens on final table you go ALL IN. you are in the final table to WIN the tourney and NOT to stay alive as long as you can in order to finish 6th and not 7th! you get a decend amound of money in any position u finish anyway.

@PhilipposAEK there was a raise infront of him, and then a very confident all-in....when you are on a final table at the main event, the pressure is a bit higher than if u play 0.10$ tournament online...it was a bad laydown, but nobody can say what would you do, because you cannot imagine that pressure...

@maiabh On poker at this level, 4-7 isn't a losing hand. If they showed the full event you'd see much more brilliance, bluffs etc. You'd see the thinking, characters of the players. If you've played poker the most interesting parts are not just "all-in who has the better hand" but the way they come back from low stack etc. But this was okay anyway. Didn't learn much about poker if I had watched the whole event.

Huh, poor QQ guy. It was very bad to see his face when folded. Fold was the correct play with his skill. He dont remember Yangs preflop rereaise, it was more than 3*. Its tell, probably JJ QQ (TT,AK) not KK AA.
And the 2. mistake is the preflop decision. No way, the oop call (+1.8M) when he scare. Allin or fold. He got the perfect flop and cant play? What the situation when come overcard K or an A?

Being in that position at the final table of the god damn Main Event, facing a raise and a strong all-in, I don´t think it is such a bad laydown. He scared of AA KK or a set. He prefers to not risk all his chips in that moment. We see Yangs cards. It is easy for us to say "bad fold". If Yang had KK, everybody would say "Gread laydown".

Hmmm.. im not sure. it sure does look like aces or kings. do i really want to risk it just because i have 2.5:1 odds to call? NO. i doubt the majority of people would call in this exact situation where there playing for millions. basically what im saying is if i had a feeling it was aces or kings, i better be getting like at least 7:1 on a call. 2.5:1 on a call aint shit!!!
