It's nothing strange. It is not unusual for Kosovar Albanians to appreciate the Serb art or Serbian artists. I don't necessarily agree with Kusturicas political views, but I'm still a big fan of his films.

With regard to the artists, yes they unite. Bregovic is very popular among Albanians in Kosovo and elsewhere. He was in Tirana on April 2006 and was declared as "počasni građanin Tirane". Thousands of fans couldn't attend his concert - all the tickets were sold quickly.
