!!! remember the sh-7! it tried to get me into a van with no windows by telling me there was going to be free candy and that we were going to a place called "happy mountain" .. i said no thanks.. i think i regret that now.
Been trying to find one of these beauties for a while now in my area! Doesn't pop up that often- but I'm going to definitely buy it when the opportunity arises. Love the sounds of course, but also love the Roland design of the SH-7, which was also used in the SH-5, System 100, etc.
I traded a Korg Triton LE for my SH-7 a few years ago and have never regretted it. You got ahold of one awesome synth - it takes a while to get accustomed to the layout, but it's a worthwhile venture with lots of "sweet spots". I only wish my Sample/Hold pot wasn't toasted. I'll replace it when I can afford a proper servicing. This one's a keeper! Don't forget to check out the 'audio in' feature - great for effecting vox or guitar (or another synth, especially one that's polyphonic.)
Thanks! I've got so many synths in the last months that I a little overwhelmed. The sh-7 is my latest acquisition, and is already one of my favorites. Amazing synth and YES, it's a keeper!!!
sounds like fun fun fun

I have the SH-5, but the 7 is so gorgeous compared to the 5. Love the color of the panels.
