Let me put it this way: I didn't grow up watching Dragon Tales. I was introduced to it by my niece, who is now sort of outgrowing it.

I've always liked fantasy stories, and I liked Dragon Tales from the moment I first saw it. It actually strikes me as being more intelligently written that most "adult" TV shows.

As for Barney, I'm not a fan, but I'm okay with him. He doesn't annoy me, anyway.
