@smity11100 - yes this is very common with indian bowlers..they come into limelight by bowling 140+ and then all the hype created by media and excessive cricket leads to injuries and then the bowlers are back to 130kmph!!..its happened to zaheer,nehra,munaf and now ishant sharma!..although i feel this guy has genuine pace he will be back in coming england and australia tour very stongly!

@Sezer888 ,Wrong. It was Ponting's vulnerability to tall quicks. Watch SRT bat against Curtly Ambrose, he plays every ball as late as possible. The best way to tackle Ishant or for that matter any tall bowler is to play them late.

It's sad, he has the physique to be india's first champion fast bowler, instead he stuffed it up. I think a combination of money, epl, indina pitches (flat and slow) is what stuffed him. He's still young and I really hope india winning wc inspires him to regain this form and work his way back.
