Good video, but it was cheapened that you did not look through all the cards before taking out the ace of spades, adding additional information. But we get the point, statistically at least ;)

Huh? I can't look at the cards before hand because I need to make an initial choice that is equivalent to the viewer making a random choice. So what you saw was a true simulation of the modified version of the problem, with equivalent characteristics to soup's original version of the problem.

I think joe meant that you should look through all the cards AFTER "player" chose his card.

Before taking ace of spades you were always stopping in the middle of the deck, and that was giving information: "oh look, here it is".

I was actually going to comment on how you should never trust someone who goes too far out of the way to show that he has no way of cheating. It's often a distraction for when he's cheating.

Yeah, when I lift the cards I always drag the deck to the edge of the table anyways. So my attempt at purity of handling the deck was pretty worthless. But seriously, my ability to perform magic is rivalled only by my ability to deliver jokes. ;)
