Metallica's tuning is: A=435 hz (Puppets/Justice). That's from Rassmusen's notes if you can't tune it by ear..

Thanks! What I useally do when learning solo's is play it very slow, over and over again. At a certain moment you get the feeling for the timing and you can play it faster and faster. Good luck! ;)

The Black Album is a real fucking Metallica track dude.... I can play pretty much everything from Kill em' all, but the problem are the solo's. The solo's are pretty hard and forgot pretty much every solo. But I will post some covers soon I think
