True every one is entilteled to an opinion i happen to like john deere more then case but if you take a look at which is more popular and who buys more of which machine john deere wins. I am not saying that John Deere is way better i my self like the Case Quad tracs the john deere tracks arent as good and the case have more power yes but thats about where the line is drwan for me.
deere tractors improve the look and a bit on the inside of the tractors but its way overated why to many farmers like the look of them,
case on the other hand, have kept the same tractor style but have improved the inside of the tractors so much more than deeres, what pisses me off is i hear too many farmers saying that case is the uglyist tractor ever which proves to me that case gets underated because of that.
Deere are a stronger built tractor and have a higher resale value! U own more tractor than any other brand when u come to selling it! I work on another rather than home farm this summer and they had a range of brands Deere new holland massey and cat! Out of all of them the Deeres where the only ones that didnt have a single break down over the summer the only time the mechanic came out was to do the servicing! Agreed the 7030 (big) spear gutless but that's due to the power weight ratio compared
Has anyone seen the new 8r series John Deeres because they look pretty foreign, all colored scv swithches and more electronic stuff in the cab like the fendts have had for probably ten years or more. Plus they new speed sensative steering they used is also something that the fendts have had for a while too. Any more the tractors are looking more and more alike and CNH products are getting just as durable as deeres, lately I've been leaning towards CIH, we are thinking about buying a 285
And also they have better soil finishers but as i know they dont have as good as disc or chisels as case does becuase we have an earthmaster disc from 1978 that i love using and works great and the 730B Chisel we have is really good. And Im not a completly loayl JD fan because of the looks We have a 7140 that I drive just as much as the 9630 and I love it. But I like deere more because there the top of innovative designs in planters and soil finishers and are innovative in design

And you would spend $250,000 on a tractor just because they apparently "look American"? I understand brand loyalty, but it's just stupid to base it off of the paint job or the looks of the tractor. Well If you have you would know why I like deere more not just because of the look no. Deere is more innovative in technoloy, fuel economics and the engine. Deere contributes more to the enviroment to the water the Combine plant takes in from the missipi is 100x cleaner when it goes out then when it came in. Also the Combines lose less crop then cases.
@thunderbolt445 How do you work out that Deere combines lose less crop than Case combines? You're quite entitled to prefer Deere, but for the sake of not embarrassing yourself, get your facts right. I've driven both machines, and both will thresh and save every last kernel if you set them properly. Personally I think Case make a better product, but it's just my opinion. Although pretty much anyone in the know agrees Quadtracs rule all when it comes to serious tillage operations.
The hopping you are seeing is because he is traveling at a 45 degree angle over the previous rows of harvested crop to help level the field, and blend the crop debri more evenly over the field.
The NH T8000 range are indeed Case Magnums rebadged. One owns the other but not sure which way round. Same goes for Case Puma and the T7000 range I think.
