Oh my gosh..... you guys.......This makes me sooooooo happy I'm crying..
I'm 29 now, my mom and dad loved yes, my mom had a lot of yes sheet music and plays piano (she loves Wakeman), and I'm the oldest of 4 kids, we all sing, i 've been playing bass for 15 years now because of chris squire, but my parent divorced when i was 6.... so this beautiful moment never happened for me......Thank you for sharing this with the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@brockious Thanks for your lovely comment, but Hey, I (the one plays piano) am nobody's mum or wife in this video!!! I travelled thousands of miles to this location in USA from UK, and I'm originally from Japan! This moment can happen to whoever, whenever, and wherever, as long as you have passion for music.
Amzing comment placidian. I noticed that some years ago and thought that I was the only one! Have not listened to DRAMA for years because of a stupid reason....no stylus. I thought it was a poor album initialy and bought it out of loyalty but after thirty years (eek) it is THE ONE that stands out in my mind. So minimalist and striking. Yet when the Buggles joined Yes it caused a wave of consternation. It was like Liverpool swapping Torres for a League Two striker. Little did we know.....
try to imagine cutting out of school while blazing my own trail in 1984....and listening to this album on vinal on a beyond kick ass system...this album is defininitely my fave..cables that carry the light to the satanic mills...
Thank you very much! Just to put the record straight...The man on the right is the boy's dad indeed, but I (singing & playing the piano) am nobody's parent, sadly.
THIS IS SO AWESOME. LOL, this is too cute. die-hard Drama Yesfans is right!! that little guy w/ the bucket thing is fun to watch. you guys are great, musical inclination is the best.
I've never seen a woman sing a YES song...let alone fron the GREAT album DRAMA. Well, I did see Sarah Silverman sing the openg line to 'All Good People'
Well done ! I forgot this little gem ! Who had the idea to learn this song ?

@verbod Thank you, it was me (playing the keyboard).

where did you get the sheet music? I'm arranging this for concert and I would like to get the sheet music for help.
Guitrdude 10 months ago
@Guitrdude
@Guitrdude
I didn't use any sheet music...I just played it by ear.
What I was looking at were lyrics and some jotted down chords and notes by myself.
But I know 'Yes Complete Deluxe Edition' includes 'Into the Lens'.
Good luck for your arrangement!!

This is great, nice to see such love for a Yes obscurity!

I remember when I first heard this song, the polyrhythmic opening reminded me so much of UK's-In The Dead of Night.
