  • Great work boys.

  • can i have the intro music I'm shooting an 80's porn....

  • Can anyone start shipping these foldable legs to me in Sweden? haneryd@gmail.com

  • Would spray paint also work?

  • Hell yes. Awesome job and thanks for the tip.

  • so is it 8x4 or 8x2?

  • Polycrylic is not actually waterproof!!!!!!! If water sits on the table a few min, the finish will begin to fog. Ever left a cup on a table and you get that white ring mark? Use helmsman spar urethane instead. If you've already used something different, just sand the table with 400 grit and spray 1-3 coats of the helmsman on top.

    BeerPongCustoms

  • How tall is it?

  • Is´nt it easyer to paint the white places first and then tape it and then paint the black?

  • how many inches is it from the back of the triangle to the edge of the table????? me and my buddy are building an east carolina table for our apartment.

  • hes actually sanding wrong. sand with the grain not against it

  • I'm gonna make a playboy table now!!! :D

  • i have no intention of making this, but this video is pretty cool

  • How much does it cost to make this table

  • "that looks great oh yeah"

  • What if you need to make it collapsable?

  • Can't wait to make my U of A table, using the A logo as the trianles, and the catch phrase "beer down" on the sides

  • how much does the piece of wood cost

  • @Willwowen1 you buy an 8x4 piece of plywood at home depot and they cut it for you the size you want which is an 8x2 pieces. it cost about 30 bucks for a decent piece of plywod whihc is BC plywood

  • @Willwowen1 Depending on the thickness of the plywood you want will tell you the amount. But it's approx. like $40 for an 8x4. then you just ask them to split it for you.

  • What was the glossy stuff used at the end??

  • how much does the finished product weigh?

  • speakers up loud, video starts. I SHIT MYSELF

  • where can u get the stickers (like the playboy one)? i wanna buy a md state flag one

  • does he turn gay at 7:57 ?

  • JDM BEER PONG TABLES!!!! check us out on YouTube and Facebook!

  • @jdmbeerpongtables Do u have to comment on every vid to do wiv beer pong?

  • pretty nice table

i would buy it when im not high

  • great video. very easy to follow

  • nice job sanding against the grain

  • @e5po96 beer pong not shop class lol when your bombed you wont notice

  • How long should the wood screws be, 3/4" with a pan head?

  • how much did all those supplies together cost

  • I really like this guys. I'm trying to make a beer pong table for my bf's surprise party. Defiantly helped me out. Thanks :) -Amanda

  • quick question... instead of stickers, will car decals work and stay?

  • i used spray paint when i made mine. but as long as the table does its job and stands up level it is amazing either way :)

  • I used a counter sink for the screws then I filled it in with wood putty

  • I found that screwing two 7 foot pieces of quarter inch angle iron down the length of each side makes for a dunk proof table.

  • How did you guys fill in the nooks in the board?

  • Thank you for the video. You should make some more

  • You should make a video to make a portable one. Id love to have one that fits in my trunk

  • @mheathbar29- Check out my video of the completed table I made. I used CentralCalBeerPong's video to get an idea of how to paint, what goes where, measurements, and for motivation, and then I designed my table based on the needs of tailgating and having it fit in the back of a Tahoe. Good luck!

  • @mheathbar29 seems to me you'd just need to put hinges underneath in the center.

  • i have a portable table that myself & some buddies made, pretty simple. just took a piece of 4 x 8, instead of buying those legs you can buy at home depot, we had one of those white fold up leg tables laying around, (i think they are like 30 bucks), pulled the legs of it, of course we had to modify a bit, we rounded off & sheared some of the width off, changed the distance for the snap in hinges, put a hinge in the middle of the table. now its portable custom made bp table, bout 50 lbs though...

  • Sand with the grain!

  • I hade already made one with 3/4 inch ply wood and it started bending in the middlle so I made another the same way exept I made a frame out of 2x4s and put it bellow and that worked alot better

  • @caradetaco67 What did you use to fill in the nooks in the board?, and what did you use to cover the screws before you primed it?

  • go doggggggssss bulldog born bulldog bread bulldog till the day im dead !!!!

  • gotta sand that biiitch down

  • Did u just use one big sheet 8x4?...why did u say ask for two 8x2

  • FRESNO STATE!

  • What is the thickness of the plywood that you used ?? 3/4 1/2 ??

  • get a roller itll be 10x easier to paint

  • the kid in the black shirt on the right is so cool. i wish i could be like him

  • how much do all of these cost? i might as well buy one

  • Hows the bounce on that table? Bounce is very important to me. : )

  • thank you

  • wouldn't it have been easier to apply the base layer of paint first to the entire table and then apply painters tape and second layer so you aren't applying painter tape twice?

  • Its difficult to paint over black with white. It takes a lot of coats and probably some additional primer for the areas you plan on painting white.

  • @windexx17 the base layer would have bled through...

  • @starchildben yep

  • @windexx17 unless ur trying to paint white over black which is what he is doing. that way you dont have to use like 3 coats.

  • @windexx17 the reason he used the tape is he was using a darker base color than what he wanted the second layer to be. it makes a much better looking paint job when you finish than if you had the black showing through the white

  • @windexx17, that would work with paint/primer, but he did a base layer of primer. The first layer of paint needs to be on the primer unless you don't mind a mediocre finish.

  • @windexx17 Then your waisting paint lol

  • awesome! i just need something to play on instead of a boring crappy plastic table

  • thats a sick table. bet the girls love it. 5 stars

  • can anyone figure out how to make it fold in half?

  • @NpcMaster cut it in half, and buy hinges and install them on the bottom like you did for the the legs

  • @NpcMaster I'm not sure, but I would cut it right down the middle and put hinges on the bottom. I don't know if it would work, but it's a suggestion.

  • Awesome video! How thick should the plywood be and what grit sand paper?

  • About how much did all the supplies cost?

  • how high should the table legs be?

  • Sick table do you sell custom tables?

  • 8x4 peice of plywood

    folable table legs

  • That is the most professional looking home made table that I've seen. Im gonna do it. Nice vid.

  • I agree with everyone else! Make them and sell them on ebay! But not for the ridiculous prices that the "Pro" ones go for on there! You guys are awesome! Thanks so much! Whenever I make mine, ill post it as a video response.

  • You definately need to start making those and selling them on ebay. you would make some money for that man i swear! id definately buy one.

  • @JinDoLLL You can't really sell them on ebay. The materials cost about 40 a table, and shipping would be crazy. Better off making your own like I did. Looks great if you follow directions!!!

  • daymm dude thAT SHITT IS BADD ASS U SHOULD MAKE THEM AND SELL THEM IN EBAYY .LOL..THAT WILL BE SICKKKKK..

    .....NICE VIDEO

  • this is good shit i built mine like this but i put a 2x4 frame under it so it wouldnt bow in the middle

  • what did you use for the frame? Because mine started to bow in the middle too

  • i did a 2x4 frame

i mitered the corners at 45 degrees and put 4 cross members across the middle with biscuit joints for support

its nice i could sit on it and it wont flex

  • If we ever do hotel parties, we just jack the bathroom door... lol. I built my own table with an auto ball washer and neon lights and stuff.. weighted to much and couldn't transport it unless you had a truck.. ended up giving it away and wasting alot of money... but it was fun making it!

  • bud light....buncha bitches

    drink some real mans beer

  • @imgoingtokilljoe7 whats wrong with that statement... oh yeah the "light" part lmao

  • @imgoingtokilljoe7 after that whole video thats all you couls say? No one likes people like you.

  • @Svgeunicorn3 noo...no likes ppl who waste their time drinking bitch beer my statement still stands.....its not the taste..its the foam

  • nice table, we just use whatever we can find

  • Whats the size of the big playboy sticker?

  • Are you suppose to usee gloss paint too? and is the poly stuff suppose to be gloss?

  • Thanks for the vid. I have one in the garage right now. Only thing i did diffrent from you was to put the legs on folded up first and i also used wood filler to fill in the bad parts of the wood.

  • thats what i was thinking... they may have confused base layer with second

  • why not paint it white first?

  • they were too drunk to think of that

  • Sweet thanks

  • so u guys r selling your tables

  • So did you take the 8x4 and have it cut into two 8x2s? I'm a little confused on that part.

  • yea he did he said it at the beginning. he said just ask someone where you buy it to cut it into 2 8x2's

  • what he means is i think you cant buy 8 x 2 but you can get 8 x4 and you get them to cut it 8x2

  • and then you can make 2 tables

  • im listening to the new tiesto CD and its effing sweet as man sauce

  • srisly? get over here and show me your wang, its gotta be bigger than the dude i was with last

  • swsome!

  • Wow, very nice video.

  • If anyone could answer my question that would be great. I just got done with the polycrylic layer yesterday and tried to play on it today but the cups slide all over the place like they are on ice. I was thinking clear skateboard grip tape but I dont think it would hold up well over time with beer getting on it. Right now im considering gluing cork costers from walmart down but I would rather not. Just holla if you know of something I can put on that is clear and will help the cups grip.

  • hey man, the cups are going to slide no matter what. you could goto a place that sells beer pong trays or just wipe the beer up every game. i dont have that big of a problem with them sliding as much as i did when i first played. hope i was some help

  • I went to Home Depot and got the supplies I needed and then went to get paint. The guy told me they can't sell oil based paints anymore. Also I got home and realized the primer I bought was latex based. Anybody have any suggestions?

  • Yea, Follow directions then go to Lowes

  • Is there an cheap place that will turn photos into stickers?

  • does it still get a good bounce?

  • How much does this all cost?

  • For me it was about $18 for an 8x4 piece board. Paint was a freebie but I would estimate $20 and depending on the primer $5-$12. The legs are $20 at Lowes and Home Depot. The polyicrylic was $16 I think. Personally I spent even more but I would budget around $90 for a decent table.

  • how tall were those legs? i saw some but they looked really short. im not fixing to play on a table the height of my knees

  • What are the Dimensions for the Stickers?!?

    Small Sticker = 4" x 5"

    Medium Sticker = 7.2" x 9"

    Large Sticker = 10.4" x 13"

    - Know of any good websites to get them for cheap or decent price??

  • Thanks guys. Used this model to build two Iowa Hawkeye themed tables. Used a 3/4" piece of oak plywood. The tables look amazing. Broke the first one in last night.

  • I used this video to make a table!

I made the mistake of using spray paint for the first layer which lifted up the painters tape. It barely covered the hole table before it ran out.

    great vid

  • you just totally helped me figure out what im doing for my boyfriends 21st birthday present. THANK YOU!

  • would aerosol primer be acceptable? or do you need to use the can of primer

  • If you can spray it evenly and thick enough yes, but i think your are going to go through a few cans before getting it even and soaked in.

  • nice

  • beautifull work of art.

  • i cut my board 8 by 2.5' and it works out great...i made it a Mizzou theme...my friends and i love it...thanks you guys

  • How much paint would i need for the Main color and the Accent color? How much sealer?

  • for one 8x2 table, i used a quart of white paint for the main color, and a quart of black for the accent....you dont use both quarts....or you shouldnt atleast...and as the clear coat, you buy the quart. 3 quarts of paint roughly about 30 dollars (mainly because of the clear coat)

  • I'm going to estimate beause I have made a few, I went to lowes and bought a quart of main color and the smallest can for accent color hoping I dont run out. I think it should be about perfect for it, but im basing it on my other tables taht I made out of gallons of paint. clearcoat is unknown it depends how thick and shiny and waterproofed youw ant it

  • Comment removed

  • what size are those bigger stickers?

  • where do you buy the legs?

  • i got some at home depot

  • I just made one this exact way using your instructions and when I peeled the painters tape from the black layer of laytex paint the tape peeled irregular chips of the paint off of the side lines because its basically a thick rubber when it dries. how did you peel it so smoothly? did you peel it while it was wet?

  • dont use latex paint....i had teh same problem. Use oil based paint.

  • doesnt plywood warp? like, really easily?

  • not really, especially once you build it up like this and keep it laying flat as much as possible or on its side not at a weird angle. buying a completely flat piece from the lumber yard is one of the key parts, if its not flat, tell them you want to keep looking until there is a flat piece

  • we ask for an 8x4 piece of plywood then two 8x2 pieces of ply wood? i dont get that and what do they cut down the middle

  • yep down the middle to u now have 2 8x2 pieces of wood instead of one 8x4 piece... i did it yesterday and im about to paint it today

  • oh so we buy the 8x4 and end up with 2 8x2 pieces of plywood for 2 tables?

  • you can make it even more foldable by hinging it in the middle. they dont show that in this video though

  • ya wouldnt it make more sense to ask for 2 4x2's so you can hinge it and fold it?

  • ah alright i get it. you play on the 8x2

  • Theoretically, yes if you want to save space. they obviously have room to keep big tables so they dont need to. hinging it is tricky but I have made 3 hinging ones with custom bent hinges.

  • did ur hinging tables ever sag at the joint?

mine did, finding ways to fix it tho

  • mine have just enough slack to the point where htey could, but i just pick it up in the middle and they stay level. so no they dont, but if i set it up with the legs farther apart in turn the middle would sag a bit

  • thats pretty sick, but would all the primer paint and gloss make your bounces a little soggy or soft?

  • what i use are plastic tables!

  • i really am the champion at beer pong im sorry

  • actually, i am champiOn at beer pOng... allen iversOn, hakeem olajuwOn lol

  • Me and my bud have been working on a beer pong table of his (we used an old door because we are mad cheap). It looks pretty damn cool so far, I made a Marijuana stencil and we spray painted that on, it leaked a bit but actually gave it a glowing effect that we didn't expect, I wrote "Marijuana Growers Union" under the leaf, an orange white and red table (very hippieish, especially with the glowing green leaf). Our plan is to put some stickers on, Poly it, then glue beer bottle caps all around.

  • they cost like 200 bucks to buy them

  • im trying to do like a replica basketball court of my school.

  • how would i get my own designs on the table? like words and ishhh.

  • another option rather than plywood is a door. I bought a door without any indents or holes for the knob for about 20 bucks little under 7 feet, hollow, perfect for bouncing

  • note: when you sand it down, go with the grain, not back and forth

  • is that a confederate flag you got back there?

  • yes that is,

  • you might want to use mdf instead of plywood. its about half the price and is a much better surface for bouncing. the only problem is it's heavier so you might not want to use it if you're going to be taking your table everywhere.

  • mdf is not great for screwing in legs to. it does not hold as well as plywood.

  • damn, those fools were wasted at 6:50 - 7:00 lmao

  • hey, what kind of plywood would you reccomend? Oak, etc.

  • with plywood, to my knowledge its not generally sold by wood type, but rather by grade; A, B, C, and D. For this, you'd at LEAST want B grade, but preferably A. I've seen it for as low as 50 bucks for an 8X4 sheet.

  • yeah, i made a table back in april, and i used B grade, sanded on one side.(not going to use the other side, seeing as its going to have table legs under it, and yeah home depot or Lowes, 19.97 for the legs.

  • i can't find folding table legs ANYWHERE. where are some stores that would have them? and whats about the right height for the table...30 inches?

  • you can also just get something to prop the table up a bit. wood blocks, 2X4's, bricks, etc. the table isn't going to be taking alot of physical contact

  • I just picked up a pair of them at Home Depot. $19.97

  • or...

you could steal one from the salvation army..

    like i did.

    (Its way cheaper..)

  • 14" from the back of the table or back of the triangle?

  • what size of play boy bunny decals did you use?

  • So i was thinking of making a double-layer BP table so i can put some plexiglass on top and lights underneath for playing outside at night. How do you suggest i do this?

  • use 2x4s on edge to create a lip, but you would have to use a router to get the lip for the plexi glass to sit in. then caulk it or whatever so its waterproof, so beer doesnt get to your lights.

  • trying to find away to get sayy budweiser or pilsner logos in sticker form for my table any ideas ebay aint much there surprisingly

  • Just goto any place that can make decals or stickers and they will make one for you. OR you can print whatever you want out online, and cut it out. thats what i did, and it looks great.

  • how much do all these parts cost?

  • i spent 140 bucks. but that was enough supplies for 2 tables.and enough paint for like 10 tables. lol. im almost done with my USF table...lady gave me the wrong paint(latex) and used it on top of oil based. NO GOOD

  • 140 for 2? that's pretty cheap then. Do these folding legs make a tall enough table?

  • yeah the legs are 29.1 inches, and with the thickness of the wood, makes it about 30 inches. Perfect height. The only reason its so cheap is because you get an 8x4 sheet and cut it in half for 2. Also, i spent 35 bucks on the sheet of wood sanded on one side. but if you want a good table, get the 50 dollar sheet of wood, its sanded both sides, and really strong.

  • the table legs were 19.26 a pair, the wood was like 32.46, primer was 15.97, green paint was 14.98, and clear coat was 9.98, 2 sanding sponges were 5.00, and tape was 5.00........all purchased at Lowes.

  • the playboy bunny things are just regular stickers?

  • YUP!

  • how do i add a system to it?

  • How do i get the Decal to stick to the wood and whats the clear coat you use?
