Natla was the Main Antagonist in the very first Tomb Raider Game and well as the anniversary edition.

From what i've gathered, Amanda found Natla sometime after The Atlantean scion quest and had been working with here since legend. Cuz at the end of legend Lara wants to set up a meeting with Eddington and at the beginning of Underworld Eddington is mentioned.

Amanda didnt appear in Anniversary,she first appeared in Legend,she apparently held a grudge against Lara after an incident at Peru,and did not want to reconcile with Lara,and Natla was simply using Amanda

I think natla's underworld look is based on her tr1 look. She has a diffrent voice, but her hair is short like tr1 and her face looks more like her tr1 appearance.
