pretty good. one question? how do you save video files because every time I try it ends up being the final frame that was rendered.

goto the render options (F10) an change the single frame option to either 'active frame segment' for all frames or 'range' to pick the frames u want in the video....hope that helps

I do that but when its done rendering and i save to a movie file it only shows the last frame rendered.

ok press F10 again and under common go down to 'render output' an press 'save file' an choose were u want the file an the name of it..... if ur already doin this then i'm not sure your problem but hope that helps

3d studio max is difficult at first, but it gets much easier as you go along. I've been doing it for 3 years now and modeling/landscapeing is so easy now. you get really good with practice, like anying else. :)

My expirience is 3dsmax is 4 months now. I am able to animate, create any model that you can say except for some cars and I cant design any characters. Now I'am practicing on rendering with Vray.

Yes it's hard at the beginning but if you know the basics you can create many things. If u know how to render especially.

When will you people learn, keyframing a camera and rotating an object 360 degrees is not really animation.

Your 1st animation? Woow! Nice work there :P i really love the way youve moddeled the objects out. Simple to make ut the textures do all the trick. But What I didnt really like in that animation and what couldve spoiled it a bit is, at the start the glass kinda drouned inside the table. Its a common mistake, but it should be fixed.

Other than that, it was great! And it is your first attempt so keep it up.

you have to select the object and go to the modifires and look for edit poly. There is a vid on youtube on how to do it. that's how I found out.

The glass was made by using the lathe option. Just fraw one half of it and then set the lathe (not sure how, but its simple). For the table you extrude the legs and body seperately with different width and height. Im not good at teaching but I could make a video tutorial if you want

Very nice for a 1st video. Make sure you check your left, right and front views so things start on the table rather than floating.
