Very cool sub! THis may be off topic but what cuaght my eye also was the guy biking on top of a boat just before you submerged. Do you have any information about the biking boat?
While I am fascinated by this sub and any human powered mobility, I question the resistance the 'diver' has with pedaling in water (cab is filled, right). Is there really any gain realized over standard diving with ordinary feet fins?
Of course, to have a dry cab means a tremendous ballast load to submerge a very buoyant bubble. Then, there is the crushing weight of the water itself, so I understand the route taken with this design.

I was slightly disappointed that it wasn't a "sealed" (i.e. you need to be in scuba gears), but i really like the concept. And if you already beat regular scuba divers in respect to speed, it should be even faster when pedaling(?) without water resistance around your legs.
@Emescher hello, we hope to find investor to do the same submarine but Dry !, it s just a bit more expensive, but humid submarine are done to study dry one !
Great project, but not really a submarine, right? I´d say that it´d need to be used without diving-equipment for it to really be a sub. But that´s just my opinion, I really love it anyway! Great work!
Hello thanks very much, yes it s an Humid submarine for a race in USA : Internationale submarine race, with only pedal powered Humid submarine. This is a part of the work to do later a dry one. Humid Submarine is the best way to study hydrodynamics and mecanics before doing a dry one.Thanks Barrax !
Ass deep as the diving equipment allows i guess since it's not pressurized. But what do i know? It looks cool even if i think i'd prefer diving like normal, you're more free that way :)

it s built for a race. but one important thing is, we are much faster than palming. divers can t follow a pedal submarine.
