I hate that this is tagged with 311. You know, The Cure didn't even give them permission to cover this song? To quote Roger O'Donnell, former keyboardist "if they had asked us if they could cover this, we would have said 'HELL NO!'". Other than that, good job :).
@nincure The tag was a shameless attempt to get more views. But I do like their version. Roger O'Donnell is very talented and helped add wonderful sounds to some great bands like the Furs and Cure but I'd put more stock in the "hell no" quote if Robert Smith had said it. Thanks for the input.
@commonteri Well true, I would too, but I'm sure he probably just can't be bothered to care who covers his songs anymore, I just never cared for the 311 version and thought they ruined a really good song, it just seems to me like their version lacked the real emotion, makes me wonder if they know the origin of the song.. Teri, this is your best one yet. You are amazing. This may sound ridiculous, but please consider doing a cover of the Huey Lewis hit "Heart and Soul"- you could easily do a slower moodier version that would bring out the trueness of the song.
ok i don't know about the vocals but the acoustic is great. shes feelings the song and is singing her all so its' good.

2 Great cover of this song on youtube.
3. Nix the talking . Just sing. it speaks for itself.
4. You have to call yourself the Singing Tranny. You need the name. it's catchy and will get people to notice.
