i got one from michaels for only 2 dollars! its actually 6 dollars but they had coupons.. and u dont need to get that tool thing, u can use a really thin bobby pin, some wire folded in half, or even some string! all u have to do is put a tiny bit of hair at the the bottom of the bobby pin (or some wire or string or whatever) , thenput the bobby pin into te hair lock all the way to the botthom andpull the bobby pin out. if it doesnt work, it means u have too mmuch hair. after u get some hair ins

@cutiestrawberries inside, u just put the feathers in the hair lock and just clamp it down with the pliers! but before u put the feather in, make sure the top tip is taped to gether or something

Using real hair feathers is just cruel and..i think its kinda gross.. They kill and skin roosters just to keep up with the now high demand of hair feathers. Dont get me wrong, i think they are so cute and they look amazing in the video... but its not worth it. I bought the cruelty-free type.. they are fake feathers, and i love them... and at least I know im not killing any animals in the process. I bought them from Picasso Hair Feathers ...google them, they are awesome!

Birds lose their feathers the natural way too... and even if they get ripped out by an other bird or something, the rooster doesnt have to be slaughtered afterwards... they will grow back.

thats like saying you (ok maybe thats a little extreme) gotta slaughter a human cuz she decides to donate her hair. it will ALSO grow back.

@Ellliex2 Usually a while, depending on when you want to take it out. They'll grow with your hair, and its not glue so its not going to just fall out. Basically until your hair grows out enough for the locks to show.

Roosters are being specifically bred to grow unnaturally long and beautiful feathers and once they are satisfactory, the rooster is slaughtered and his feathers are plucked with the remaining body thrown away. Thousands of roosters are killed each week for demands of feather extensions. So if you're going to get feather extensions, please get cruelty-free ones. Which are just molted/shed feathers :) !

But other roosters, unfortunately die from this. Just to clear things up. I agree with cruelty-free ones. They're recycled feathers and just as beautiful.
