Bedouins too . Later the Nabateans conquered southern Palestine up to Gaza , they were Arabs too ,
they are also mentioned in your " historical " Bible ...Check these names :
Edom , Shasou and Nabateans .

that is a group of people that lived in the region before the israelies
would you mind telling me how the hell do they have anything in common with the Bedouins if they came to israel since when Rome rules israel?
Nabateans are not mentioned in the bible... they came during the roman empire rulling as well

Herod wasn't arabian... he was a canaanite and jewish

" Antipater the Idumean" , read carefully the last paragraph "Antipater in Jewish Legend ".
Idumeans/Edomites were converted to Judaism FORCIBLY by the Hasmoneans .
According to the Jewish laws , such a conversion is null and void .
Moreover his mother , Cypros , a Nabatean , wasn' t Jewish ...

Maccabes weren't part of the bible... this book was written about events that occured during the greek rule in israel (my mistake... yet you were wrong as well)
you just proved the Nabatean king, Aretas lived in the greek rule (and so couldn't be canaanite)

what i did say was that the mikra is a reliable source of information
it is proven that it is about actual events that happened in that time and as you noticed and even describes existing structures and events that involve them
although it is a very reliable source people still look at it with critical eye and that's why for example i didn't claim to know where the jews came from (even though the torah presented an explanation it's not

i don't believe the religious explanations the bible offer for the events nor the stories at the start of the book but i do believe that we can use it to learn more about the period (common beliefs, some historical events etc.)
the zionists decided to call it israel and that's a much beautiful name than zionist state

those are proven known facts that were found by many historians (which do have academicthe articles and known names around the world unlike the manipulative shlomo sand)
the Philistines came to israel in the 13th century b.c
the local israeli arabs have nothing to do with the canaanites
they started to come in the Byzantine era
also many locals joined the arabian culture in the arabian conquest in the 7th century

The Egyptians called them Shasou .
The Bible calls them Edom /Edomites .
We can call them Bedouin which is a synonym of ... nomadic ARAB .
They used to live in Southern Canaan : Naqab desert .

A) as i said the israeli society WAS racist yet today it is politically correct with mizrahim and every citizens have its rights no matter what
B) they were affected by the arabs yet they still were part of the jewish ethnic group as i proved
even the arabian society separated the jews from the rest of them
