You do need to understand that Ashe shares only one similar spell with Drow ranger and that is the frost attack buff.Everything else on them is different.Ashe can global stun+reveal a large area,but has no silence,no stealth and no auto-attack stereoid.That makes her very useless without items,but to help her comes bonus gold from killing enemy minions.She is unique in a way.It's true that many ideas were taken from dota,but LoL is really more original than Hon,if we dont count their new heroes.

who cares what game came out first? comparing LoL to HoN or Dota 1/2 is same thing as comparing Battlefield and CoD, its the same genre but not the same game what so ever and it plays rly diffrent, LoL is easyer to get into and a bit "nicer" learning curve while HoN (havent tried dota) got a bitch of a learning curve and is alot harder to master. Well some heroes have very similar abilities down to the wire. Lion and Lina's ultimates are huge nukes, Lion and Rhasta both have hexes, Riki and Mortred have blinks to a target, AM and QoP have blinks to a target location etc... As for Drow and Krobelus.. yeah they both have a generic AoE 6 second silence. The minor difference is that Drow's is on a 15 second cooldown whereas Krobelus can reduce that to 11 seconds with Witchcraft. The casting effects are different though!
