Coming from a drummer, If someone was to make a punk rock album then Travis would be your man. He's obviously a talented guy in his own genre. But compare him to drummers like Thomas Haake and Jojo Mayer, two polar opposite drummers, but unbelievably gifted and there's no competition. Modern day punk or similar is generic and boring and is nothing in comparison to the 1970's/80's.

@logansdrums Blink-182 saw hundreds of other drummers at their shows before they saw travis, but he stuck out to them enough that they called him when they needed a replacement... he wasn't famous... he plays a samba in his first blink record (i didn't see him play that here so thats two beats he's up to now), and also shure doesn't have an 'h' in it, it is however a brand of microphone travis has used to record some of his platinum records. you literally know nothing

@logansdrums Blink-182 saw hundreds of other drummers at their shows before they saw travis, but he stuck out to them enough that they called him when they needed a replacement... he wasn't famous... he plays a samba in his first blink record (i didn't see him play that here so thats two beats he's up to now), and also shure doesn't have an 'h' in it, it is however a brand of microphone travis has used to record some of his platinum records. you literally know nothing

@spparkie1 it's not as easy as 1,2, 3 to be famous. As much as I think I can make this song more awesome with just a few more touches as a drummer myself. You don't need talent to be famous. Many people who study at a musical university never get famous. You just need to be at the right place at the right time with a little bit of luck ;)
Travis Barker did an okay job nothing amazing. But he did what he had to, he played the beat solidly and added a few fills here and there. Good job Travis ^-^

@spparkie1 the reason why i dislike him is that he's so egotistical. in blink-182, he was pretty good, and i respected him, but then he sold out with all the stupid covers/remixes of shitty rap songs. then people started saying "oh hey, he's really good", when in every single song, it seemed like he was playing the exact same thing. and now he's got an album out called "give the drummer some", which is ridiculous. i'm a drummer, but that's just ridiculous.

@bleachbeech1 Uhh, well I think he definitely is. I'm not one of those travis barker lovers by any means. But if you think about it, those drum parts with Nirvana were all easy as hell, I was playing those in middle school with my buds. Even his drum stuff outside Nirvana was nothing really impressive, he's still a great drummer, but I find Travis play really tight and precise, and he can play some tricky stuff too
