We already have Ott so there was no reason to have Avery. The Stars shouldn't have given up their key players from last season. That was the dumbest thing they could have done. Um... In shoot-out rules once foward motion of the puck has stopped the play is dead.. In effect soon as you do a " spin-o-rama" when you reverse movement of the puck.. The play is dead. But then again In today's NHL we don't play by the rules.. It would of more then likely counted as a goal if it went in.

Turco stayed with the puck like he had to. yeah he got drawn way out of position with that spin, but he kept with the puck. luckily for Turco, Shannon couldn't lift the puck off of his backhand. give Turco the credit of making that save though. it was a great one. Oh and Turco is absolutely the best stickhandling goalie in the league. Go Stars!

Turco got lucky, Shannon got stupid. All he had to do is elevate it, not a foot or four, just 2 and a half inches, and he's got himself a goal.

Anyone who even has the balls to TRY that move in The Show is better than any goalie who gets lucky n stops it cuz he's got his paddle down. Good to see a kid from the NYC area doin well. Darien, all of Fairfield County, and Manhattan are proud of the kid out of Taft and BC.

And give credit where credit's due the rest of you, Turco made an amazing save, luck or not. A lot of saves a goalie makes have to do with luck, and even if this was the case after Shannon makes a great move, he stuck with it and robbed him. Helping his team get the win.
