my band is doing this song this year... but i have to say it really got slowed down.... and i dont meant to becritical because im not perfect... but i did hear a bunch of chipped noted from the trumpets.... i understand how hard those naotes are to hit because im playing first trumpet and i will more than likely get the first solo...(i dont wanna sound like a self centered bitch).. but it was good overall =D

we marched this at 162. you guys definitely slowed down to about 140 near 1:15. small band makes for more definite sound but the soloists could definitely use some work. good tone but no style and clipping notes? barf...

im a cooper state marching band student alum and i went to state with QC in 2005-2006, and ill admit theyre good but we did beat them at area so for all the smaller 2A schools out there that fear bigger bands like QC it is possible to beat them. we did as did dekalb and dekalb isnt good but i love QC. theyre great competition

Believe it or not, the "walking" that you refer to is actually part of the choreography of the show and quite popular with several of the "show bands" in Texas.

Yeah, not bad. The band overall sounds really good, there were some weak areas, particularly near the trumpet duet/solo thing. It also felt like it slowed down a lot there. Also, the organ part being played on mallets was kind of a bad idea, as it doesn't ring out like an organ does. But hey, how do you get an organ on the field? Anyway, good performance! :)

Wow. You guys sound really good.

We played these three songs in a fusion show.

Of course our Band Director and Intern both play trumpet so they did the solos.

You players a really skilled and on all the songs you are really balanced.

P.S. Your trombone section can give great impact.

It's ok. But I grew up to my parents listening to Chase. And Open Up Wide. So yea, i'm not impressed. Speed. Still Good job. And the high note at the end. Octave higher :)
