T-Express POV (Wooden Roller Coaster @Everland, Korea)

@cheezecakeV2 that is because it is a wooden hybrid. The track is steel which allows for the speed and smoothness. It's predecessor, El Toro (made by the same company) is the same way. /watch?v=VQkk6WpBU8s - the ending of el toro with the back to back to back banking turns is what makes the ride for me and I don' see that on this one unfortunately. It does seem longer though (but also maybe a tad bit slower).

@danibellerika > El Toro and T-Express are not "hybrid" coasters...the bulk of their structures/supports are wood. The Voyage @ Holiday World is an example of a wooden "hybrid" roller coaster...a wooden coaster with steel framing/supports.

@rfgstl Oh, I've read it being referred to as a hybrid from several places, so forgive me. It looks wooden to me, but I was guessing that it's steel coaster smoothness attributed to why they called it such? What could they mean by that?

@danibellerika > Not a problem. The overall smoothness is attributed to one simple thing...excellent engineering. Intamin A&G, GCI, S&S Power...all create some very well designed wooden coasters, some of the smoothest rides out there in the coaster world.

This one is really scary. I rode it last summer and the sensation of being at the very top is enough to make you sick. After the first fall, it's more fun than scary! I found it really helps if you close your eyes on the way to the top / the first drop.

Its not the best in the world! (Toro) as many people have said before, yeah it may be the best in the case of airtime or whatever! But coasters arent just about airtime!

WOW! This wooden coaster is right up there with El Toro. The similarities are the extremely banked turns, steep drops, and fast speed.

El Toro definitely doesn't have that harsh mid-course break. That break kills it! While the first part of T-Express is really fast, the rest of it seems slow and labored.

El Toro and Voyage all the way.

Man, I want to ride this ride. The :head choppers" at the end look scary, and they last for a long time. The ones on Gemini at Cedar Point only last for a second each.

Well El Toro is only taller by 5 feet, and faster by5 miles per hour...and T Express is steeper and longer...

I stil say El Toro is better, but T Express is good too if the brake run was taken off
