With all the hype gits movies had, its tech features, its qcq fighting with tanks and such this game really just did not deliver the goods- you get a simple repeat punch kick move for beats and that's it! i got this and was so pissed i snapped the disk in two (got pics) it really sucks that bad. if you love gits and want to play a game with tech espionage with a great weapon and fighting system play MGS. This game sucks ballls.

_____I played the pachinko out of this game while waiting for the XBox 360 and Perfect Dark Zero to come out. Hmm, it's funny how drop-dead similar the gameplay is between this game and PD Zero--same health rejuvenation system, same stiff crosshair, even similar weapons. It makes you wonder if those Rareware guys were playing PS2 on the sly while making their last good game to date. Ah well! Can't wait for MINDJACK to come out now, think I'll play this some more!

Not sure, I am considering getting just as a big fan of the whole series. The PSP game wasn't so good but still enjoyed it purely because I am a fan. Probably isn't as good as Oni for gameplay but, on ebay it's no more than £8 so, worth a gamble maybe?

Big environments but low res graphics. Character animation looks like they're skating above the floor. Enemy AI is dumb as hell but annoyingly accurate when they fire. Aiming is a pain in the ass. Remote hacking is a good idea but so frustrating you might as well just kill them. Melee attack is another good idea but just a cheap one button press that delivers kicks.

But what the hell, it's Ghost in the Shell.

This game is fun as hell and was seriously underrated. Multiplayer is really fun and the graphics are pretty good for the time it was released. I'm pretty impressed with the explosive weapons in the game, particularly the napalm launcher.

I know that if i want to unlock the difficulty levels and to use weapons like Laser gun or Napalm laucher i must finish the game. But after Kusanagi destroy the tank and Batou scream: "MOTOKO!" and kill the fake Major, my game stuck when the survivors run up to stairs and water come down in the pit. I guess both of them get drawned...

I bought this game not too long and I've played the first 3 levels. It's not a bad game but it is quite challenging. Once you get the controls down and get into the flow it starts to get better.

I'm sorry, but Bioware needs to get their hands on the license for GITS.

While i understand the associates with having it on Play Station consoles (in regards to Japanese markets), bring the franchise to the XBOX 360. GITS deserves better than what it's been given.

The story-line and characters are solid. Give GITS an equally prolific developer team.

The only team I think could make a great Motoko based game would be CyberConnect 2 (the team behind Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm for PS3) or maybe Akira. In fact, they are working on a new exclusive PS3 title which is not related to their previous franchises (Naruto and hack). I'm very curious now.
