it crashed because when u where turning u must of pushed down on the other stick making the plane to turn while going downwards so it made the plane crash.
I crashed my PZ spitfire into my car, luckily I was landing it, and it was going slowly enough not do damage anything badly. all it needed was a new internal skeleton and battery cover, but i had it flyinh again without replacing those parts, until the engine came loose from the rest of the frame when I landed it for the fifth time.
@dorkf1sh Haha I call that re-kitting; Takes a pro to bust every part and leaven othing intact. I've taken an Eagle 2 with clipped wings and hopped up on a Thunder Tiger 46 ABC Pro and a 10X6 prop and put it in at just under straight in doing estimated over 120. Took us 10 minutes to dig the engine out, it was buried almost a foot in. Never found one of the landing wheels. From wing to empenage, not a single part of the airframe was salvageable. Not even the servos. Carb broke the block 2!
must have been engine vibrations that caused the weird horizontal lines in the view of the prop... I would have thought the lines would go towards the center. Still a cool video, thanks for posting
you then have a real time view of being inside your fave model's cockpit, on the wing or whereever you mmount the cam! and yes if you were a very skilled pilot you could mount an extra exterior servo link it with a switch on your radio and then attached the horn of the servo to the trigger of a gun...
Anyway this man managed to incorprate the receiever for the survey cam into a pair of these goggles, the goggles themselves create a image of what's on the monitors into the built in lcd lenses that go over the eyes of the pilot and then merge the images of all three monitors together so when the pilot moves their head the sceneary moves with them, just like real life! but when modified to display what is shown on the survey cam with use of the transmitter and receiever...
so, hence the transmitter in the camera and the receiver in the TV set. Anyway, a guy in japan modified a pair of goggles that are used in virtual flight simulation, basically these goggles work by putting 3 sets of pc monitors around the person flying the simulation, these monitors are linked and they are place on an angle to the left of the pilot, straight in the centre view of the pilot and on an oposite angle to the right of the pilot... like the cockpit of a real plane! =D.
well, you can mount a special camera with a transmitter inside it that plays the footage to a receiver, this technology is used as realtime premium quality police surveylance. The receiver is usually intrigrated into a surveylence TV set. You see most of you would be say oh, that's just a surveylence system, wrong - surveylence systems are done with cabling - a direct connection to the tv set, but you can't really attach a cable and put a model plane up as it would cause problems.
Could you see the camera image real time? If so, then you could fly the plane like you were sitting in the cockpit! Crash didn't look that bad either. Amazing video!
Right after it crashed im not sure if that buzzy growling sound was the camera, or some left over life in a servo trying to move. Or even the engine.

It crashed cause the flappers aren't as good as a prop .... lol bizarre effect.

Put the camera on the wing to eleminate the rushing air from the prop. It helps but it will effect it's center of gravity a little.

what kind of camera is that?

You call that a crash?! Pfffhhhh! I've turned airplanes into way smaller pieces than that. Amateur.

I agree, just a bit of a rough landing. Still a cool video with the sound.

No, not vibration, It's the varying rpm of the prop in contrast to the scan rate of the video camera.

Listening to the plane click and moan like a heart beat and the pilot not moving... it felt so tragic and dramatic.

you get realtime footage of whereever you mounted the cam directly to the goggles, it's like your actually flying your fave model!!
