Keith Patrick you will always be my heart. I will never go home again cuz if I took the streetcar you would'nt be sitting in the back seat half hanging out the window smokin' a cigarette in your unseasonable black leather jacket.
we were both from new orleans, and that was the difference. i cannot tell you in short words what knowing him was like but i watched him develop into a true artist. it is so sad that he had to experience death in such a fashion, but those of us who truly knew him know that he was no stranger to it.
i cannot express the pain but if anyone is his friend, they'll understand. a true trendsetter. no bullshit. a real friend. profound. honest. real people. no nonsense.
keith moore. "bleefen". at least that was what i called him for as long as i knew him.
i don't want to sound like others, but he was my best friend. really. true blue and brutally honest, coupled with a true sense of humor. that was keith moore. i went to jail 2 days after his death and i have not paid my proper respects as of this comment, but i will. i recently was informed of this
video and it's all coming down. i met him hawaii. hated him at first, but we shared common ground.continue.
Keith was a great friend of mine, for many years, well, from about 1982 until 1998, we were young drunks together, in the streets of N.O., and in the streets of Richmond VA, and in the streets of NYC....but then we had a falling out. At the time that I learned of his death, I was looking for him. His dad told me that they weren't speaking. We fell out because of my drug habit. I got straight later. I just wish I knew what he was up to in those last years and days> I miss him so much
I truly hope you find comfort in your search for serenity. A dear friend is hard to lose, and it sucks...The pain of loss no one can take from you, but we are here, we are listening, and we care very deeply about you. May the memory of Kieth burn bright in your new found sobriety!
