  • @Filnizer Still its a Fantasy world so it dont have to be real =) and as MotthofSaurons said it doesnt mean it doesnt look nice =)

  • Looks more like a sunrise to me :D:D:D

Nevertheless, it looks really nice! :D

  • @Filnizer No they're not. OBGE is a GRAPHICS EXTENDER mod. It does NOT aim for extreme realism, but instead for prettiness. Godrays are pretty. Not realistic. Some shaders are created for realism, but the godrays were not. Quite frankly I don't even know where you read that they were added for realism.

  • @Filnizer Daedra are kinda unrealistic since you don't see them in real life unless you're eating 'shrooms...

  • @Filnizer Same can be said about the amount of bloom and color saturation/blowout the engine has. It's a video game duder.

  • Excuse me, my good sir, but this is sunrise.

  • That godray shader is actually wrong, in reality the mace is way to far away to influence the godrays.

  • Isn't that a sunrise O.o

  • How do you turn on god rays? I've been trying to get it to work but with no luck.

  • @Filnizer Its pretty possible if you stand in super high density smoke for some reason.

  • TECHNICALLY this is sunUP, not sunset. But I'm sure a million people have already mentioned that. :P

    Great video!

  • @Filnizer you'll see them on a foggy or misty morning quite easily.

  • It's sunrise, not sunset.

  • @Filnizer Or if it's very foggy or dusty.

  • I'm pretty sure that's a sunrise.

  • @Filnizer

i see them pretty often through my blinds and curtains

  • SUNRISE U DUMBASS

  • @Filnizer Oblivion should also not have magic because it's unrealistic.

  • That's Sunrise dude.

  • Motherfucking beautiful

  • @Filnizer or.. if ur in a dusty room =)

  • @Filnizer that doesn't mean it doesn't look nice though

  • @MouthofSaurons It's not even called Godrays to begin with they are called sun shafts or light shafts

  • That's more like a sunrise not a sunset... Nice graphics though.

  • why couldnt this be in xbox i think we shoud be able to mod xbox easy like on pc :D

  • @lewisf726 microsoft wont allow it :(

  • @MouthofSaurons PLUS if you were to get mods many "mods" would be able to cheat the game for you this is also another reason, it would also mean you could easily get game score. It would also make the xbox 360 a machine more understandable (since we would have access to the files of games through the xbox its self).

  • @lewisf726

Even if you could, I dont think the Xbox360's hardware would be good enough to render graphics like that in Oblivion. The Xbox360 can just about handle the game and there are places where you can get low frame drops and stutter, adding high resolution textures, shaders and effects wouldn't help that.

  • @lewisf726 the xbox would cry and overheat if u modded it like this

  • @LolJesusDied1

Most console games have this effect now. Probably done the same way.

  • @xalener no console game ive seen has this effect the gpu in consoles are far to limited for effects such as this

  • @LolJesusDied1 I beleive Gears of War 3 and Medal of Honor on the consoles have it too

  • @LolJesusDied1

I think you're letting consoles sell you short then. Yes they're outdated, no they're not weak.

  • @xalener playing a xbox in HD (which isnt HD its 5xxp) it lags to hell u only get like 20 fps in game and its tricore processor doesnt help at all

  • @LolJesusDied1

The console doesn't determine the resolution, that's set in the game. Some games are 5XXP (oblivion, GOW) and some games are 720p (Halo reach).

The 20 fps in oblivion are because it's a badly optimized rushed port. Of course the frame rate is gonna be low.

  • @xalener it does determine the resolution cazuse it will only use what the console is able to handle set to high it will barely run

  • @LolJesusDied1

Use punctuation, man. I had to read that at least 3 times to figure out those were 2 separate sentences. Plus, the resolution is determined by the settings of the game itself, not the console. Otherwise different games wouldn't have different resolutions. Also, I don't think you read my comment. Oblivion is optimized like shit. The same reason the game runs like shit is the reason there are better looking console games that run smoother (and even have similar draw distances).

  • @xalener ur jooking the only way they get console games to run better is they have to dumb down the graphics so bad i dont think u played oblvion for the pc or any multiplat at all

  • @LolJesusDied1

You really don't read my comments at all do you?

Are you 5? You sure a fuck spell like you are. You debate like you're 2 years old though.

  • @xalener lol are you mad console peasant

  • @LolJesusDied1

I actually have more playtime on the PC than any console I own.

I just have a level headed view on things. I don't prefer anything to anything else.

  • @xalener You are one dick headed cunt aren't you? Grow up instead of bashing him about his spelling it is possible he's from a different country and just started english. Why the fuck do you keep saying over exaggerated things like "I had to read that at least 3 times to figure out *INCORRECT those were 2? You can't talk jack shit your grammar sucks cock too.

  • @ConfusingGamer

How do you know how many times I read something?

  • @xalener The resolution is determined by your T.V/moniter and the console.

  • @ConfusingGamer

The console (or at least the 360) can be set to 480p, 720p/i, and 180p/i.

The tvscreen does dictate which one of those you choose.

The games on the other hand usually run at a resolution slightly smaller than any HD setting, then upscaled. That's the up to the settings the game developers choose, not the hardware. Of course on a PC you can choose what ever resolution you want.

  • @xalener Which is awesome! :P

  • @LolJesusDied1

Gears 3, bulletstorm, medal of honor, Uncharted, Crysis 2, farcry 2(but those are fake), Brink...

You kinda got me at a disadvantage here... Godrays didn't really become a popular fad until recently.

  • @lewisf726

You can do absolutely anything on a pc as long as you know how, to do it on an xbox is not impossible but you need to be an experienced technician to do it...

  • @lewisf726 Because the XBOX barely runs the game as it is, let alone with mods like OBGE (Oblivion Graphics Extender). Consoles are massively out-dated and they simply would not be able to use 99% of the mods out there for Oblivion.

  • @lewisf726 Copyright and security issues. =p

  • Pretty sure that's a sunRISE, bro.

  • I love how Bethesda added a colourful effect to sunset but not to sunrise in this game. :P

  • someone set us up the nuke.

  • what settings do you use OBGE to get the god rays?? i dont get em.

  • God rays are pretty damn fun to play with

  • It's a sunrise, you dumbass.

Anyway, it looks cool with the godrays, Imma gettin this for sure.

  • yay mace!:) finnaly I see some1 using blunt weapons in Oblivion

  • I think he's moving his mace to show the effect of the mod. ;)

  • That's called a sunRISE- and your mace is in the way.

  • pretty sure hes moving his mace in front of the sun to show off the godrays effect :/

  • It is a sunrise...but the mace is in the way for a reason.

  • @thebutcherhead dude, chill out, and the mace is obviously, OBVIOUSLY in the way to show the effect of the 'godrays'.

and it is a sunrise, maybe he got it wrong?

  • mehehe i use the same hud

  • This is the best oblivion mod in existance

  • Looks pretty :)

  • Nice stuff!!!

    cheers!
