The arborist compromised his integrity by submitting official documents stating the tree was sick--unethical and really sleazy. Confrontation by angry neighbors is the least of what he deserves. He ought to lose his license--there is an arborist code of ethics. If the homeowner and the arborist were honest with occupants and neighbors, they might have been more reasonable. Just b/c someone owns a piece of property doesn't give them absolute rights over actions that affect other people.
I think the video is obvious. You have a guy who works hard for a living being videotaped doing hard labor and someone that is unemployed and looking for a reason to justify his useless existence behind the camera.
This landowner hired an individual to cut down a tree that was on his PRIVATE property, and now you want to put the guy out of business? Why? Because the tree was pretty? And you loved it?
