This was a very good game (albeit too short) -- loved it. I played it and then played the 360 version which was extremely good, no matter what the critics/haters say. I would highly recommend both of them. Of course, Ubisoft's crown jewel is the Assassin's Creed franchise, with AC2/Brotherhood to be played back-to-back.
I wish I knew when/if there was going to be another PoP game coming for Wii/Xbox/PS3/PC -- I will definitely be buying them.

Just beat the game, and it got all crazy at the end. Can somebody please explain the story to ME?!?!?!! I'm not sure what was happening at all during the game. It just pushes you along. But I think you can figure out a lot the second play through. Is that supposed to help clear it up? So was the genie evil? Was the whole game pointless because he ends up going back in time anyway through a sand wormhole? The princess seems to know they met though. Is she evil? Did the genie know the whole time?!

I can play the wii version of game my PC with a pixel shader 2.0 supported graphix card while the the pc version requires pixel shader 3.0..............with the Dolphin Emulator of course...............And it runs at 28-30 Fps!!!
this game was pretty cool, but even with all the secrets, its very short, but im sure i havent found all of the secrets, but i know i found most of them, but i rented it sunday and in the first 3 days i already beat the game twice, and the original unlockable 1992 prince of persia game, but i still say it is a good buy with an amazing story

@vasilije94 the emphasis was on the acrobatic exploration here... combat almost feels in this game as if it's just getting in the way of the superjumps and wall running(and in this version, hookshot climbing and levetation) ... as it should feel in POP games.. combat was secondary to acrobatic exploration in the originals.
Actually, that's only true for the first and third games. In Warrior Within, combative prowess was emphasized and really focused upon. And that was a good thing. I just got to the first big boss (wii version) in this game, and though it feels...different, it is really no less fluid or beautiful than in PoP: SoT or PoP: T2T.
Yes, this game is..eh-hem...different from the trilogy, but it carries that same feel.
There are indeed a lot of secret areas with chests and stuff, but sometimes there are too few savepoints and the boss battles (At least the first one) don't feel very Prince of Persia-y.
WTH the Wii version is so much better than the 360 version. At least in the Wii version he's only using sand powers not the "powers of nature" (fire, wind etc)
What a let down that we wont be able to use the elemental powers like the pc version and it doesnt have the rewind time all i recommend is dont buy the wii version, the pc version is much better, i can only play the wii version as i blew out my graphic card :((((
This game is a lot of fun. I recommend it to anyone that is actually follwing the story of the first three. I just don't understand why the Wii versions story is so different from the PS3's story. Still the game is just as good as the others 5 stars.
It certainly looks really interesting. Since Wii is the only one of this generation consoles I own at the time, I'll definitively pick this one up. :) I really liked the Rival Swords-version of The Two Thrones, it was a lot more fun to play at the Wii than it was on the xbox.
This looks awesome. Only just played Prince on the PS3 and this looks to be better IMO, not played a decent wii game since Conduit. This looks to be my next purchase :-) am looking forward to this
@doubletwinblade - It's not they spent more or less time on the graphics for the game. The Wii doesn't have the same power as the 360/PS3, the simple fact that Wii's max output is component should let you be able to figure it out. The Wii as everyone knows was geared towards a different play style and family orientated game play. None of the Wii titles will ever look as good as the 360/PS3 versions, but that doesn't make them any less fun to play.

You may not be sure what you are saying because Wii version uses original engine which developed the first 3 games & PS3,360 & PC look good because they use Anvil which iseven more powerful engine. The engine in which was created Assasin's Creed was made. Wii isn't Anvil oriented console so they created it on jade

This is a load of crap!! it is maybe more for younger demographic but what about the prince of persia fans, played all the games last game was boring.
Doesn't look as good as the PS3 or 360 versions. I guess they have to deal with the limitations on the Wii so I guess they just decided to make a whole different game. It also looks like they are aiming this version at a younger demographic, which I guess makes sense since it's on the Wii. All in all it will probably still be pretty good, but I'm going to stick with the PS3/360 version(s)

pros and cons to me:
+ Graphics are pretty nice for the wii
+ The powers look, pretty cool
+ Exclusives sound pretty interesting
+ Gotta love the classic platforming
Cons:
- We don't get any of the cool ps3 and 360 powers *im not sure*
- Motion Controls? Oh...Crap.
- This doesn't look as awesome as the freezing water deal on the separate versions
Now, I could be wrong this game might be ok, maybe... And I mean MAYBE slightly better than the ps3 and 360 but i guess well have to wait and see...

im saying this through a Wii lover perspective but these graphics suck,they say they made high production yes the lighting is good and they cant pull of no ps3/360 version but the characters and grainy and did u see the boss near the end of this video,its foggy looking in the face and very pix elated but still im buying it since i love Prince of Persia and i only have a Wii(ftw)

POP Two Thrones is by far better than that GARBAGE Assassin's Creed. AC 2 is the only game in the series which is great. AC 1 was absolute garbage...

I don't care that much about how up to date the graphics are, I think these look great just like some old games still look great, also the wii remote is gonna be amazing with this so I don't see it as much of a sacrifice at all.

look at the vines, that could have been improved but its just lack of detail :/
i wouldn't mind the whole concept of different visuals but why is the environment AND story completely different? that just isn't really fair unless someone has 2 consoles, one being the wii of course. Ah well that just means theres 2 games i gotta play now ;)

You may not be sure what you are saying because Wii version uses original engine which developed the first 3 games & PS3,360 & PC look good because they use Anvil which iseven more powerful engine. The engine in which was created Assasin's Creed was made. Wii isn't Anvil oriented console so they created it on jade

Doesn't look as good as the PS3 or 360 versions. I guess they have to deal with the limitations on the Wii so I guess they just decided to make a whole different game. It also looks like they are aiming this version at a younger demographic, which I guess makes sense since it's on the Wii. All in all it will probably still be pretty good, but I'm going to stick with the PS3/360 version(s)
