  • I've always eaten Rolled oats. Are steel cut any better?

  • @BlackRavenHU That is true, white rice is only really bad in the sense that its not really for those who want to lose weight.. Fats and vegetables will also slow digestion down ;)

  • whats a good daily meal plan for fat loss?

  • Why is white rice bad?

  • @023blabla

its not 'bad' but it lacks the caseing that brown rice has which means its low in fibre. its bad in the sense of weight loss because the rice would be converted to glucose quicker, and you'll spike your insulin levels causing that glucose to be stored rather than burned. also because of the lack of fibre, you digest it quicker making you feel hungry again pretty quickly.

  • @soldierside365 white rice in combination with meat (chicken breast for example) is a very popular meal (among people who train with weights) that "works well". i think meat slows down the digestion process so in this case white rice is not all that bad.

  • Is it good to eat the oatmeal without cooking it? I'm usually on the go in the mornings so I would just make a quick shake using the above ingredients but I just want to make sure it's safe to consume raw.

  • @HowiGotAbs , I've been eating alot of protein doing alot of strength training but i cut down my fat and minding it , but when i look in the mirror the only thing thats different is my man tits are bigger and my abs you only can see a trace :( its annoying me , Any tips?

    Thanks for ur time.

  • i got the jllian michaels natural whey protein, i want to add it to my shakeology and maybe to my oatmeal or whatever in the mornings, how much do i add, and how much is too much? any tips and info would help

    thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi!

I'm wondering... is it okay to eat this as a meal multiple times?

My box of quacker oats says there is 27g of carbs in 1/2 cup of oatmeal.

I am trying to lose weight, and I was wondering if multiple servings with protein

    would be alright to eat?

  • im starting to get some belly fat on my lower ab, i am currently doing crunches and sit ups. planning to do more other workouts rather than just my abs, but to lose this fat would i have to jog also? and i'm new to this so would protein powder help? and thanks for the video!

  • if i were to eat regular pasta, but then do a 2 hour intensive cardio workout...will i still get good results?? or no??

  • @Nutbuster360 Pasta in general is NOT good if you trying to lose fat. I would say keep pasta intake to a minimum. You can have it once in a while, but I would not suggest eating it every day.

  • @HowiGotAbs ya i only have it like once month or once every 2 months when it comes to regular pasta

  • @HowiGotAbs Even whole wheat pasta is not good to lose fat?

    Take care!

  • Happy to see I'm not the only one who does this.

  • @ruobhad Thanks for the comment!

  • my everyday breakfast, along with a apple

AND IM STILL IN LOVE WITH IT.

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH so good

  • @OGFISHERMAN777 - I have this everyday as well. Great way to get good carbs and protein!

  • not showing how to make it, common ...

  • So what you gonna mised that oat meal with protein? I am curios, can use honey oat??

  • but i heard that having less carbs helps you get abs quicker?? so...wouldnt oatmeal not help you get abs?? curious...cuz i've been training to get abs for a year..and i'm barely getting results i've been doin high protein and less carbs....cuz i am tryin to really cut down my body fat percentage

  • @Nutbuster360 - You want to eat the "good" carbs and avoid the bad carbs. Good carbs are the ones from old fashioned oatmeal, veggies, etc. Bad carbs are white rice, white pasta, white bread, some wheat breads sugar filled foods, etc. The key is to keep your sugar intake under 15g a day from all foods, eat good lean protein and good carbs. Eating old fashioned oatmeal is good for you. Hope this helps!

  • @HowiGotAbs ohhh ok...so eating oatmeal wont like stop me from achieving abs righT?? is brown rice ok?? cuz i have that...and whole wheat bread w/ double fiber.

i also eats fruits as well

  • @Nutbuster360 Ya, I eat old fashioned oatmeal once a day, sometimes 2 times. Brown rice is ok as long as you aren't eating bowls and bowls of it each day. I try to keep my daily sugar intake from all foods to 15g max! this is the one thing that really helped me drop the fat and get six pack abs. Nutrition counts for almost all of my results. Exercise just helped me get defined and build muscle! keep your questions coming.

  • @HowiGotAbs ...oh i see when when it comes to eating complex carbs...have it only when ur gonna do intense weight training? and during the day jus have fruits and vegetables as meals? well like i have oatmeal like 2-4 times a day because i do dancing throughout the week ....so can i still intake that much complex carbs if i'm dancing?

  • @Nutbuster360 high protein and less carbs are effective, but it is very difficult to maintain that diet. Because your body can't survive on protein alone. Oatmeal is a good carb, so eating it in moderate amount is actually beneficial for getting a 6 pack. Even if u can't eat the good carbs, u still should have some form of carbs, so if u have to eat white bread or rice, u should, because u need the fuel. But i'd prefer oatmeal or grits. best tip is stick w diet u can maintain!
  • @stockmaster1982.....ya it is hard!!! but so far i've been able to do it...i've only been having like maybe a serving or 2 of oatmeal w/ chicken breast...or 1/2 a cup of brown rice...so am i on the right track??

  • @Nutbuster360 You are absolutely on the right track.

That will help you shed a lot of fat. Myonly concern is

when you limit your carbs too much, u will be so low

in energy, that it can get u exhausted physically

and mentally! But if u can stick to that diet, while

exercising, you would be able to get a 6 pack in

a few months. But if u realize it's too hard, u should

change ur diet up just a little bit. Carbs won't make

u fat, it's the excess in calories that make u fat.

    Good luck!

  • @stockmaster1982.....so oatmeal is a carb that helps give me the energy i need to intense exercise and help shed more fat?? ...and when it comes to super high calorie foods...that what builds fat??

  • @Nutbuster360 Yeah oatmeal is a complex carb, meaning it takes much longer to digest, which in turn means you use up more calories just to digest the food, thus burning more calories, and at the same time, more filling. Simple carbs like white bread, white rice, burns very quickly therefore it is converted to fat, very quickly and doesn't use up much calories to digest it! Complex carbs like Broccoli, oatmeal, brown rice with high protein diet, and exercise is the key to 6 pack!
  • @stockmaster1982 ...hmmm ok that would definitely make sense....another question...how come there are certain ppl that can eat whatever they want...and stil be ripped?? like i had friends in football that ate total crappy foods...and they were buff and had 6 packs??

  • @Nutbuster360 lol~ Good question. Well first of all,

i don't care who you are, if you eat more than the necessary

amount to maintain your weight, you will gain weight.

Likewise if you eat less than what is required, u will

lose weight.. Remember what goes in, must come

out. The fact that when ppl say they eat like a horse,

and never gain weight, well, that's actually a myth.

Sure some ppl are genetically programed so.

But for 90% of people, if u eat more, u will

    gain more! It's simple!

  • @Nutbuster360 I've had a friend who's always skinny,and never

gained weight no matter how much he ate. But i found out, the reason

is, His definition of eating alot,& the normal person's definition

of eating a lot is different. For some ppl 2 slices of pizza is a lot

and they've felt they ate too much. But for some ppl even 5 slices

of pizza, is little food! The overweight ppl tend to underestimate

how much they think there eating, likewise underweight ppl overestimate

    how much they ate!

  • @Nutbuster360 As for ur friend who plays

football, the reason he's able to get buff and have a 6

pack, is despite him eating crappy foods,he was

still able to maintain his weight, because the food

he ate, didn't exceed in surplus calories! His everyday

of training in football, and burning calories, was able

to burn enough calories to maintain the body he has!

It's very simple. It's simply physics! If u take in more

calories than u body needs, u gain weight! If u take

    less u lose weight!

  • @stockmaster1982 ..hmmmm ok now i can see it makes more sense...so even though they eat crappy foods....the intensity in their training burns it off everytime right??

  • @Nutbuster360 - good carbs are complex carbs like old fashioned oat meal. Bad carbs would be sugar, white bread, white rice, white pasta, etc. Make sure you are measuring your body fat % every 4 weeks to make sure it is going down. Most guys will see abs when their body fat % is 10% or less. A perfect meal = lean protein, complex carb, fiber + water. Make sure what you eat falls into one of those categories, otherwise skip it if you want to burn fat and get abs!

  • @HowiGotAbs ...ya i think my bodyfat is at 10 or 9 percent now sure i mean like my abs are pretty visible...yet i know they could look alot better!!....oh but i also heard that our body can only metabolize a certain percentage of carbs and protein or it will get stored into fat! is this true?

  • @Nutbuster360 The main thing to pay attention to is keep sugar very low each day. I shoot for 15g a day. I know that may seem really hard to do, but once you get into the groove of it is not that bad and you can see amazing results. In general avoid the bad carbs like white rice, white pasta, white bread, sugar, etc. Good carbs= old fashioned oatmeal, 0 sugar sprouted wheat bread, wild brown long grain rice, etc. Sugar is our worst enemy when it comes to getting abs! Keep your questions coming

  • @Nutbuster360 ur calories play a role in your abs as well

  • @BodyofanAngel hmmm i see...ya i have gotten my diet really good now, i'm at 7% body fat!! finally can see my abs after FOREVER!!....however its very hard to sustain. -_____- i just found that out lol

  • @Nutbuster360 you have to do lots of cardio,weight-training,and hard dieting to get results in about 4 weeks
