  • are they still high definition?

  • Dear Santa, this is nice tutorial, thank's

  • @7pinkstone7

    Full of win.

    And thank's for the tut.

  • @7pinkstone7 loooool!

  • How does this compare to the way Adobe Premiere CS4 converts to AVCHD to SD AVI's? Is it better quality? More conversion options? Is it faster?

    Thanx in advance...

  • @fnub Many many more options

  • @fnub This program is cheaper as far as I know also... :)

  • I downloaded Elecard Converter Studio TRIAL (12 days). It plays my Sony HDR-CX7 MTS file ok on this application. but....how to "save" it into avi or mpeg files so i can share video with my friends easily?

  • This has to be by far one of the BEST & FASTEST programs to convert ACVHD to any other formats without loosing quality...

  • you can also use sony vegas platinum to edit and save to AVI. what would be nice tho is a program that edits hd files then re-saves in HD.

HD-alive converts m2ts files, saves in avi-HD, divXHD and Xvid but doesnt allow editing... the problem is the acvhd files are too big. sony and panasonic are the main users of these.

  • I did not understand this until I de-selected "run in HQ" - and then, the video was crisp. The default setting was not impressive - rather back to front, from what we usu. see on YT.

  • What is the actual name of the Elecard program?

  • Wow...what tremendous skill in language...Sorry if your broke...many are so you are not alone...but I reckon that means this "hot tip" is simply a way for those who can afford and want to do something...but if you "ain't got no money" then how come you need a program which deals with video cameras that cost hundreds of dollars?????

  • I'm in the black, I'm STILL broke:P

  • Thanks Bob I tell ya it is really sad to see what these companies are doing these days. Sell us a a grand worth in camera equipment and forget to tell ya that more then likely you won't be able to do much with it unless you spend more money and time figuring out what the hell is needed and how to use it all. Like yourself I know a bit more then most but was caught off guard on this one, HG20 yet no software support and no Sony Vegas does not support avchd MTS figures right. Thanks

  • Newer versions of Vegas Pro (8.0c and on) support AVCHD, but it runs poorly unless you have a monster machine. Also, 60P AVCHD files glitch for a lot of people.

  • dude since you have elecard studio can you give me the registration code so i wont have to pay because i just got a new camera and i cant use it pleaseeee :)
