He just wasnt in to playing metal anymore, so even though he is a wicked guitarist I think him leaving was the right move. I like Chris Broderick JUST AS MUCH as Friedman, I think the Megadeths line up right now is very good, Shawn is decent but not the best drummer ever, but does alright

It would have been awesome if he was Megadeths drummer right up until his death in '99 RIP.But the drugs got the best of him and was thrown out, I think that Mustaine shouldve kept him as drummer even though he was an addict, its not like mustaine wasnt an addict .I think Nick Menza was alright too but sticking with Gar wouldve been the best move IMO.
