@jeremymiguel they had LED lights fixed to their hands, and were controlled by the people on the left side, the CGI was added after, the lights were there firstly for the actors and secondly to aid the special effects team, the veronica fight will be on the directors cut dvd

@philipfairclough1 A lot of people call it special effects, but it's actually visual effects.

special effects = during filming/on set (rain, wind, fire, etc)

visual effects = during post production (the lightning strikes and pretty much all the other effects that arent created on set, like the cars going through the mirrors and everything)

the scene looks like one of the final battles, though i don't think it is. also, i saw the trailer, and i believe they are putting a new spin on the classic short clip that this movie is base off of. in the trailer, you can see the "mop scene" from the mickey mouse version.

That "sneak peek" put a really interesting perspective on the film. I think it would be extremely interesting and unique if they edited a version of the film (scene by scene for the entire film) from that point of view (behind the scenes, over the camera's shoulder).

If they don't do it for Sorcerer's Apprentice, maybe someday someone will do it for some other film.

Given the capabilities of film-making these days, I think it may actually happen soon.
