  • I think new NHRA rules need to be put in place for SAFETY NETS in runoff area. RIP Scott Kalitta.

  • @internedder There's something they have to do...but I don't think safety nets are the answer. The impact of the explosion is what knocked Scott out...not that he'd have been able to do much anyways. I just don't think safety nets would stop a 290 mph fireball.
