@ghettoperson257 It's Heathrow and Germany is close by, so there isn't much of a point to use a large intercontinental airliner on such a short route. You may ask why Air France is there with an A380. It's because the same plane is flying daily flights to Johannesburg, but it arrives in Paris early in the morning and leaves for JNB again late at night, so they make a quick stop in London to make full use of the aircraft instead of having it standing in Paris the whole day.
Emirates and Singapore airlines are very good in service. Been to Dubai in one of Emirates A380 and To Los Angles on Singapore airlines both Non-stop. Very comfortable and spacious. Next wee will be going to Sydeny on quatas! I Love my New Job!
BREAKING NEWS European air safety officials extended checks for A380 wing cracks to the entire superjumbo fleet Wednesday and said the widespread defects could pose a safety risk if left unremedied. The big question here is, is this a design fault with the AirbusA380? Can this problem be fixed altogether or will these cracks keep reapearing due to a design fault? It seems to me that perhaps the wings are simply not up to the task of carrying this big boy and if so, what future for the A380?
@850ovlov you know why you wouldnt fly in one?......cuz you are a loooooser and you are not going anywhere ever!!!!!!!! LOOOOOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TOMORROW MORNING FLYING to the Emirates in one of these great aircraft! see ya idiot!
I am a fan of any airplane with more than 2 engines, just in case. Those ones with one engine on either side are a ticking time bomb. If something goes wrong with the engine on one wing, it's a huge disaster.
@leston4life This isn't the 1960's anymore. Modern twinjets have very reliable engines and even if one of them shut down they can fly for really long distances on just one engine without any problems. Read up on ETOPS.
damn did you see how the Emirates A380 landed at 1:25 that pilot was gonna put the front wheel down before the right wheels touched down!!! hes too excited!!!
gotta love this plane. I live right by JFK , when these things take off I barely realize the largest passenger aircraft is landing or taking off over my roof. It sounds more like a A320 haha . the most disturbing aircraft is the A340-200/300 , those sound like 747s flying low.
@KidKlassic91 i live by JFK too and those jumbo birds are such a sight to see !!! and to think how they can get off the ground in only 45 seconds is phenomenal !!!
@ghettoperson257 Yes , thats awesome. I dropped off my friend at terminal 5 and wanted to go spotting. From the top of T5's parking lot I can see 22L and 22R , I was lucky enough to see a Korean Air A380 land ! very smooth plane.
@KidKlassic91 thats why i love JFK they handle almost every airline that operates the A380(Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Air France, Lufthansa, Korean Air) so at JFK, you're basically bound to see at least one A380 there! and yes it is a smooth ass airplane!
Great video, went in the Air France A380 earlier this year to JNb loved every minute of it, so quiet and smooth.
Yeh the 747 may be the queen of the skies but im afraid to say the A380 is now the King of the skies, best livery, Air France, spectacular. Check out the vid on youtube of the air france a380 in flight......type in ,,,,Air France A380 HD In-Flight Air-to-Air,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,enjoy!
how much A380?

The Qantas livery looks much better then the rest. Although Emirates looks nice too , Singapore air and air France simply look shit.

All these aircraft have defects and will need to be inspected due to severe cracking in the super structure. I would cetainly not fly in one.

For fun I searched around: Tail span of A380 is just over 99 ft... Wing span of Gulfstream G650 is 99ft 7 inch.
