i personaly hate these vids. there really sad and when a rider falls off and their horse gets injured they are really really sad and they dont need people like you rubbing there mistakes in their faces!!! these videos are just sad :(

@DragonLoveDragon and you have to do alot of work because you need to controll the horse, concentrate every second you are on the horse and use your arms too, I definately would have slaped him and then I would have put him on a horse without a leader and see if he changes her mind then :)

I have been doing it for a while now and I can also jump but I've had a few falls but nothing serious, the first time, I was bucked off by a stubborn horse, she was really annoying and she used to bite/kick I never forgave her for, then the second was on a flea bitten grey horse, I was in canter and she got spooked and halted suddenly, I did a front flip ova her head and landed on my back which hurt but I stood up and got back on-nothin bad :)

My OTTB and I did eventing, He would always refuse at the wood quarry, he would continue toward the jump as if he were going to jump, but dart out at the last second, i would never fall off, then one day, he JUMPED it! and DUMPED me right on top of it! I had adjusted my position for a refusal, and i was WAY off center of gravity for the jump! gotta love an OTTB!

I totally feel the pain of so many of those people. One was almost identical, horse shied at a jump and I fell on the jump and got my foot stuck in the stirrup. Not pretty. There are workshops you can take that pretty much teach you how to fall so you don't get in a bad situation like that or learn to roll instead of landing on your head. You have to have the split second judgment, but I recommend it to all equestrians who jump.
@Msmusicca SOmetimes you cant. Especially on high jumps when yu fall yur in shock so dont know to let go, and if Its a horse like mine which is an Arab, I work cows on her and if I fall I have to hold on to the reins cause where I work the cows its 300 acres at the least so I cant loose my horse there especially when its all wooded. And she only alows me to catch her.

well that showed them. all the annoying people in the world who think horse riding is easy. when i go into school the day after a bad fall the just laugh and say that horse riding is easy and that they just do what you want. you dont just sit on one it it moves. i hate people like this. everyone at school now when i go into lessons just laugh at me and say haha you fell of a horse
have you seen the fall that Oliver Townend took when he was doing the Badminton trials!? If he had'nt been whearing his helmet properly, his head would have been squished!!! Let that be a lesson to ALL of us riders!
Videos like these help to remind me of the very basics I sometimes want to forget... -- ~Never push your horse to gallop when he/she is just learning to crawl, remember that you had to do crossbars before 5" jumps too.... ~If you are afraid, you horse probably is too... ~If you have to question the safety, don't do it...~ and most importantly, if you forget to get your helmet, GO BACK and get it - great quality video too, btw.
Haha I love how you ask people how to ride, and they say, "easy,you sit on the horse and turn the reins." I know from personal experience that this sport is FAR from easy.

i gotta admit i really like watching horse jumping but i think that sometimes the horses are really being pushed to their limits and further!!

have you seen the fall that Oliver Townend took when he was doing the Badminton trials!? If he had'nt been whearing his helmet properly, his head would have been squished!!! Let that be a lesson to ALL of us riders!

Videos like these help to remind me of the very basics I sometimes want to forget... -- ~Never push your horse to gallop when he/she is just learning to crawl, remember that you had to do crossbars before 5" jumps too.... ~If you are afraid, you horse probably is too... ~If you have to question the safety, don't do it...~ and most importantly, if you forget to get your helmet, GO BACK and get it - great quality video too, btw.

Haha I love how you ask people how to ride, and they say, "easy,you sit on the horse and turn the reins." I know from personal experience that this sport is FAR from easy.

@SophiaThePumpkinKing This sport is so not easy. I hate when pp say that I just wanna slap them in their faces... I have a horse and hes good but sometimes I can't let ppl ride cuz of the way he acts with riders sometimes..... We should put one of those ppl that say its easy on a horse and just let them go i would like to see long they would last....

@pablolover24 :) Yeah, I put people on my mustang who say it's easy and they are freaked out and yelling to get off in about 2 minutes.

@pablolover24 Yeah one time i put my dad on my horse he was only on for about a minute... he kicked my horse and he took off then raced back to me. my dad jumped right off...

@stace1993 oh yes, very true. riding a horse has a different category than a sport, its much more. its not about kicking a ball around on the grass, or throwing it in the air. its about the love, passion, and trust you have to gain before you start with anything. most people dont get that, it pissed me off :/ great video though c:

@stace1993 You know, i had a jumping lesson 2 days ago and i fall of my horse 2 times! 1st time i hurt my head a bit, but the second - OUCH! I did fall into that white thing what is holding the poles and hurt my back realy badly! Good that i had the body protector or i'd have broken bones!

@stace1993 these people arnt stupid i do cross country and it isnt easy full out gallop / very fast canters over bumpy and rough terrain ditches and big jumps to go over it is hard to stay on if the horse gets a stride wrong , and most these falls a good horse women can tell it was as they lsot ballance xx

@Cloudruby9 It drives me crazy when people act like we are just sitting there like it's a roller coaster or something, lol. I wish I had a horse there every time and say yea, get on something whose back is higher than your eye level and then direct it and hold on!

mostly when an accedent like that accurs its usualy the riders fault but sometimes it may be the horses fault!
