the opening ceremony was awsome. however 1 act kind of tainted or left a bad taste. in regarding to the lip-synch, its the principle of deception, especially when 2 little girls are the innocent victims. now that lin is recognized world wide. who out there will remember peiyi? lin will be remembered for her looks and deception. and peiyi, will loose out on future acts, cuz she just aint 'cute enough', you rock peiyi! whats the purpose of deception, knowingly deceive, unitl you get caught!

I can't find the drummers from the beginning though? Which part are they in?? I would have though they'd be at the start of part one but they're not! I can't find a decent video of the 2008 drummers anywhere :(

i think the ceremony was pretty. I liked the drummers at the beginning . I feel bad for the cheerleaders who were all the area they had to dance for over two hours.

To answer your question Tunenas; the reference of the hymn sang by children in Greek, is to give hommage to the origin of the Olympics. Wich was first recorded in history in Olympia, Greece aroung 8century BC.
Wich i though , was a brillant touch.
Contrary to you, i loved all the reference the chinese history and culture, and all they brough to the world. Exquisite. The ceremony was just breathtaking. A mighty force with such sensible artistic elegance. WOW. Just that.
