That isn't audio post production! He never locked the system to picture and he never mixed or did anything to picture. he just controlled a DVR's functions with a expensive controller. Give me a break!
I agree, come on Sonar you really just created a sort of 'dumb box' (controller). If this unit was fitted with external octo core processing along with video out syncs. This would be a powerhouse with enless possibilities.
Overall, I'm quite impressed however until Cakewalk fixes the dynamic video-mouse placement problem- this isn't a *real* solution for most professional post-production houses. When Logic, Pro Tools, Digital Performer and Cubase-Nuendo all have this support while Sonar doesn't--- it really shows how far behind the times Sonar is. And yes, I'm a Sonar user myself. I just wish Cakewalk would hurry up and fix this issue.
